The pan is fine, however it did not come with a lid. The pictures do have a lid with the pan. Deceptively advertised.

Great quality. Good size for candy making. Didn't realize I would have to "season" it, but good directions were included. Highly recommend.

I buy aluminum pans like this for everyday cooking. They're a great value and can be found in many restaurant supply stores. The walls aren't quite as thick as a super expensive sauce pan, but they're much thicker than steel pans and the aluminum does a great job of distributing heat. If you can't afford an expensive sauce pan these will do in a pinch. I use all the time for puddings and other dishes that require milk. Just stir while cooking. Steel pans can burn even while you're stirring. Also great for heating up soup or just about anything really. Easy to clean, steel wool does the trick. The handle is a little rough, just use some steel wool and it'll get rid of the excess roughness.

very professional and very versatile. need to get a silicon handle for it though because it does transmit heat through the handle quite easily.

Nice pot to keep around for sauces or tossing into the oven or on the bbq.Handle sits too high to fit into double ovens with the smaller top oven so I bent the handle down and it's just fine.

This is excellent cookware at a fantastic price. Many complain about getting the label off but we have never had an issue. We have a few pieces of Winware and it just out classes our expensive teflon coated pans. We use this on a ceramic cooktop stove and always get excellent results. It requires less heat to cook with, you can control the heat instantly and we love that it will boil water in less than half the time as opposed to our teflon pans. We get 4-6 quarts of water for pasta to boil in 5-8 minutes. No issue with anything sticking either, another benefit of being able to cook at a lower temp. We did season the pan, just a light spay of some canola or vegetable oil and heat the pan on medium. Don't let it get to the smoking point and then just let the pan cool. Seasoning the pan makes a lot of difference. I did see a few reviews about the handles being a weak spot but this pan and the other Winware we purchased all have heavy duty handles that are secured with very robust rivets and would require cutting or drilling to get them out. The only consideration is obvious and that is the handles do get hot so a pot holder is mandatory. This will last for decades and always provide a consistent result.
