The Hi.Per LTD ball is built for limited space training. Use for pre-game batting practice, front toss, or event tee work, the limited distance flight design of the LTD ball enables players to take full swings while only sending the ball a maximum of 100ft. Use indoors or on the field for pregame warm-ups, this ball is ideal for maximizing reps and minimizing clean-up/shag time. Made from our proprietary XD Composite, the Hi.Per LTD ball is more durable than traditional plastic training balls.

I played D1 college ball and got paid to play ball as a semi-pro athlete. I tried this and the PowerNet (the red brand) balls for my son as an alternative to do BP in the yard vs. driving to the batting cage or to an empty field to pitch baseballs.. Both balls weight the EXACT same down to the 0.1g. The Atec balls were significantly less expensive per ball and I like the grip texture on the balls better than the PowerNet balls which enabled better control when throwing hard for in-close BP. My son is a good hitter, 13yrs old and about 100-110lbs, and he's hitting these probably 75-100ft max. Both the Atec and PowerNet balls are superior to the Total Control (TC) balls and both are FAR cheaper too. If you buy the TC balls, you are wasting your $$.

I bought these hoping they would compare to the Total Control wiffle balls, they don't. The don't have any weight to them. They are like the Skillz wiffle balls but I would still prefer Skillz over these.

We purchased these near the end of little league season, but both 9 year olds improved their hitting from the time we started using these daily. We used them in places that real balls were not safe to use like during team practice while other drills were in progress and at home in the back yard. These balls are heavy enough to feel comfortable to throw over hand and light enough to pitch at close distances to emulate fast pitching. We are very satisfied with them.

SO i purchased the TCB and they are crazy expensive. Another coach had a bunch of TCB after two years they were all cracked. I saw these in a store and decided to purchase them off of amazon. They are awesome for throwing BP before games and in practices. They are lighter and a little smaller than the TCB but you can still throw these fast. These help out my players that get scared standing in the box. I throw ten of these then 10 baseballs. For $20 if they even last a year i would be happy. So far no issues i wish i would have found these out prior to purchasing the TCB.

I tried these balls in little league (minors) fall ball practice, and i and our players like them. I use them for inner team scrimmages. They dont hurt ya if they hit ya. They force the batter to hit it dead center to get a better/solid hit. They are enjoyable. I may use them for pre game if no field or cage available. I like them better than whiffle balls. I can use them with metal, wood, or whiffle ball bats. They are enjoyable to squeeze and play with in your hand. I likely buy another set. Enjoy. Pat

I purchased these in hopes of having something similar to a wiffle balls but that is heavy enough to sit on a tee or use for soft toss when windy. I couldn't find a weight for them but decided to order them anyway. The wiffle balls I have are 24 grams and these are 39 grams which is not enough to make a difference in windy conditions. The flight is about the same as a wiffle balls also.

These are awesome. Hand down the BEST low flight practice balls on the market - better the those sand filled ones. Sturdy enough that they down blow in the wind, but unique soft composite material allows really low flight, but a good feel off the bat. Totally recommended.
