The JH Williams P-29 5/16-Inch long taper punch has an overall length of 16-Inches and a stock size of 5/8-Inch. It is constructed of heavy duty industrial grade steel. I bought this to replace a craftsman one that I had for many years and tortured that finally have up. It has been a solid replacement but I do notice the tip isn't as hard as my last one as it mushrooms easier. But all in all is solid

Very good fit and finish, well made. Jaws line up perfectly, cutters work well and the rubber on the handle is not cheap garbage.

I have been looking for a good heavy duty alignment punch. I am glad I ordered the Willaims JHWP-29 Long Taper Punch. Good tool steel, and good size, approx 16 inches long.

My husband reports this tool meets expectations - even when used as a drive punch to knock pins out - not necessarily the proper use of the tool - the tip is tough and doesn't chip like cheap ones might. Good size for motor mounts and medium size flanges. Very satisfied with delivery and tool.
