I searched and searched for the perfect retainer, so as I was sifting I guess I didn't notice there was only one (the picture is a bit misleading). If has a nice heaviness to it so it feels like good quality. Its a little longer than I was expecting but it gets the job done

flips up easily and fit well, but fell out as soon as i blew my nose and i lost it. photo is also misleading and only came with 1 piece, and $15 including shipping is a bit steep for one staple retainer that got lost after one day of use.

I was kind of hoping that I'd receive four like the photos for this retainer suggested, but these are sold individually. It doesn't take away from my initial reaction to having this hardware inside my septum.I like the fact that the sides of this are long. It seems that it won't slip out while I'm working, which is nice. It's also very comfortable, and I can hardly feel it inside my nose. I would definitely buy again.

This is the best retainer I have ever purchased! It’s surgical steel so it won’t affect you if you have allergies or sensitivities to things like nickel. The picture seems as if it’s a pack of them but it only comes with one. Most people’s piercings are in the right spot in their nose, where mine is somewhat lower and it was still very easy to flip up to hide! If worn down it doesn’t hang too low and is VERY hard to spot if flipped up. I’ve purchased much smaller ones that tend to wiggle around or flip back down, and I have never had these issues with this retainer. I highly recommend for those who have to hide their septum piercing for any reason.

Waste of money. $10 for a thin tiny piece of scrap metal the size of an industrial staple. I can’t even see the thing because it’s so short and small. It just hides in the crevice of my nostrils. Go to a REAL body jewelry place and get something that’s worth more than .05 cents.

This is an exact replica (at least to my knowledge, the material could be different for all I know) of the jewelry I purchased when I first got my septum piercing. I loved the way it looked, just 2 little lines poking out of my nose. However, I run XC so during one of my meets I must have wiped my nose and it fell out. I had looked everywhere online for another one of what I lost, but all retainers were too short, or had a weird curve in them that I didn't like. These, however, are JUST like the ones my piercer gave me! They stick out just a little bit and also fit very easily into my nose if I need to hide it. Word of advice: the first week or so that you wear these, be careful because your natural instinct will be to touch it. When I first got it pierced and then when I bought these again and had to get use to wearing an open retainer (as opposed to a closed ring) again, for the following week I end up bopping it out of my nose in my sleep and having to search for it in my sheets. So just be wary for the first week, try having a clean area around your bed so it will be easier to find this retainer if it slides out. Once that week goes by though, your body adjusts to the feeling and it stays in (just be careful when blowing your nose!).

I bought this because I forgot my retainer on a trip where I didn't want to wear my septum jewelry down, and with Prime it arrived lickety split. Exactly as described. Just big enough to get into my nose, which I like because it will stay up better.Update: after wearing this for a few days, this is the most comfortable, best fitting retainer I've had. It's the right length to nestle into my nose (and stay put), and it doesn't have the edges like the omega-shaped ones (which stay up great but irritate my nose after a few days of wear).
