Super high-quality folding ruler, metric one side and US lengths and increments the other. Solid brass folding mechanisms, choice of yellow or white. I bought yellow and it is easy to find every time I reach for it. Fiberglas construction for the folding units.

This is my new favorite tool. It's so small and pocketable - barely weighs anything and just feels nice to use. I'm sure it's wooden and brass predecessors brought even more satisfaction, but this modern versions snaps precisely and stands out with great strengh. There is absolutely zero slop in the design. The accuracy is dead-on and the markings are even engraved. At this price, I'm putting one in every bag and drawer and wherever else I can find one.If I had to find a flaw, it would be that there is some slight curvature built into it. Full extended and laid flat, it wants to rise just a hair. Not a big deal, and I'm pretty sure I can just leave it in a slight reverse bend and get it flat again. And I'd really like to be able to choose white. I got yellow and it is a fine color, but the white is a really good looking ruler.

This will work great as a fish measure tool. It is compact and no metal to rust. Fits in tool pouch or purse or back pocket of jeans. Seems like you would need to be somewhat careful while folding and unfolding since fasteners holding pieces together are some type of plastic. So much lighter than a tape measuring though! If rough on your things this is not for you, but if need something light and portable to use occasionally this is the ticket! Would prefer metric to inside and standard to outside, but not a big deal.

Worst stick tape I have ever bought its overall size is approximately 1/4 the size of a proper stick tape each section of ruler is only half as thick as they should be witch makes them extremely flimsy the overall size is 1"×4" and mine came out of the packaging already bent

'very disappointed with the wiha maxiflex folding rule,purchased in sept I used it once putting up some shelves then when I came use it again it snapped in two places both on the plastic pivots,have just bought the fisco one metre folding rule which seems to be far better quality.update on my review i tried to repair the two pieces which have snapped off, now I don't normally check model numbers but i noticed that the number on the ruler that I received is 1259 and not the 61601 which I ordered and was charged for,so I'm assuming that this wasn't necessarily a problem with Amazon's picking but with the seller EIO STOREFRONT, so at the end of the day I'm going to have to bite the bullet on this one but will avoid the seller in the future.

Wiha makes great tools. I knew this and took a chance on the folding rule, thinking that for the price it couldn't be too big a disappointment. Almost 2 years later I still carry the same ruler in my pocket EVERY DAY and it has held up beautifully. I am a firebrick mason by trade, and standard folding rules cannot handle what I do to them. The corrosive mortar and harsh environment haven't done it in or removed the marks, the constant soaking in water hasn't hurt it or corroded the hinges, it's still just as crisp as it was when I got it. The smaller size is perfect for pocket-carrying through boilers and tight spaces, unlike standard folding rules. I need the dual scale, but even if you are a non-metric mason it is a great buy because the inch side is on the back, and therefore the beginning of the scale is protected. This is an excellent product, I strongly recommend it for personal use or as a gift. I will never buy another lufkin. I decided this one was worth replacing a year ago, but it just won't die, I'm very impressed.

Its a lot smaller than I expected (compared to traditional mason's wood stick tape). Nice build quality though, and gets the job done but just be sure you need a pocket sized folding tape b/c that's what you're going to get.
