Ever have one of those nightmares when you try to scream but barely any sound comes out? That would be the experience with this whistle if needed for self-protection.

With the metal chain/lanyard, it weighs .53 ounces. It seems a bit heavy, but I like it. I blew it outside. It is loud and shrill. That's what I want it for, so I will take it backpacking.

The product can be worn around their neck which makes it very accessible in time of need. And if used properly, puts out a very loud whistle sound that will catch anyone within hearing range to look. Great product for the price for a product that is of very great value.

I mean, when do you need a whistle to be made out of titanium? Probably never, but if you need a whistle then you might as well have a really nice one. This is probably not lighter than a plastic whistle, but it's 1000% cooler. It does not give that falsetto vibrating whistle like that classic gym coach thing, it's just one pitch. It's pretty stinking loud.

It definitely works! Very loud! I didn’t even blow very hard and it was loud enough! I have a pretty long walk to my car every night afterwork and now that it’s getting darker earlier, I wanted something just in case. Hope i’ll never need it but gives me some peace of mind having it at the ready.

This is a really nice titanium whistle, that’s about 2 inches long. I love the colors! And it comes with a reasonably well-made ball chain. It has a very nice strong whistle sound, but it does take a lot of wind to make it happen. It lets out a little bit of a sound with a small breath, but to get the really large loudness it’s capable of, you do have to use your abdomen.I definitely recommend this whistle. It’s beautiful and great to have when out in the wilderness. I also think it would make a great stocking stuffer.

This is a nice and tiny little emergency whistle to leave in your kayak, backpack, tackle box, etc. Very easy to carry around, very lightweight, and it doesn't have an inner ball design, so you should always be able to whistle it just by blowing through the mouthpiece. Reliably loud, and comes with a nice little cord loop to attach it to something if you want. Material seems legit, it's very lightweight, yet strong, non-magnetic, and I did a scratch test on tile and glass and it easily scratched and left dark lines like you would expect to see from titanium. All in all, I'm impressed with how small , but powerful it is. I like it a lot! Highly recommended!
