Shaft size was different than the original part. Had to modify to make it work. Motor was Whirlpool too. I made it work but made a ten minute job an hour job.

We needed this to replace the one on our 14-year-old upright freezer. Seems to be good quality & it is working well.Definitely recommend.

Fit perfect in my freezer to get it working again.

My freezer started making loud noises. I looked up the parts and figured I'd replace the fan and the motor. Once I opened it up, the motor was fine (in fact the replacement required splicing wires) but the fan was missing a blade. I put this on and the freezer was just like new.I will say the fan is snug going on the shaft, but with a few firm pushes it went on.

Good product. Be very careful when pushing it onto the motor shaft as the motor shaft may come out of the motor housing and you will break a blade like i did and have to order a second one.

The motor and fan was perfect fit. I had 3 wires coming into plug. I turned/unplugged freezer, then cut blue and white wire (after plug) and stripped wires back. Removed plug from new unit, and cut leaving wire enough to use later if needed. Hooked up blue to blue, and white to white. Placed scotch lock connectors and black electrian tape. Then taped up again with other wiring and secured it away from coils and fan. Plugged back in, checked for fan rotation to be correct direction. Placed unit back into service. After running 24 hours, removed back to expose the coils and fan. No icing or build up of ice, so de-icer is working correctly.

This was a perfect replacement fan.I purchased my Whirlpool stand up freezer used and cheap. Probably because it was making a strange noise but still worked. The noise got worse and worse until I knew I had to try and fix it. Being the DIYer that I am i did some research and found the problem. The fan was warped and missing a blade and the evap motor bearings were shot. I was surprised to find both items for a great price right here on Amazon.com. Replaced them and now I have a brand new freezer!
