It is a very bendable/flimsy ruler, which can either be good or bad depending on what you want to use it for. I ordered this ruler on accident, actually. I meant to purchase another one that looked similar, however, it's been working good for me and my rotary cutter on a cutting mat for cutting straight edges on both fabrics and vinyl. You just have to be careful about going over it with the rotary cutter, otherwise it will get seriously dinged up.

I ordered this ruler to use in cutting 2" strips with a rotaty cutter. The ruler would be fine for drawing or just measuring. Unfortunately, the ruler is very thin and rather flimsy for use with a rotary cutter.I anticipated it to be much thicker and rigid enough to use with the cutter, but it will easily be cut with a rotary cutter and difficult to hold in place on fabric. Therefore, I plan to return it and look for a thicker version.

Great ruler, exactly what I was looking for. I use for pattern drafting and the grid line and transparency are perfect.The only thing to note is the edges are a little rough which doesn't effect what I use it for but if it's a concern for you be aware that it could be an issue.And Amazon...this ruler did not need to be shipped in a giant box all alone. What a waste!

I like the clarity of the plastic and the ruler is really easy to line up. It's good if you are making a graph for artwork.

Love these rulers. If you've never used a clear ruler, or a ruler with beveled edges. Just get it -- you'll love the differences when you use it.

I ordered this more or less as a trial for my amateurish drawings. I find it quite useful in lining up objects and finding centers and right angles as required. I like it and use it more than my usual ruler. Personally I think a 12" would have been handier but hey I can measure half as long again when needed. Whether it's useful for you I don't know. If you do a lot of drawing, give it a go, it's not to expensive. I could go back to my old ruler but that's not going to happen as this C-THRU ruler is my choice.

I choose this rating because I heard it was used for drawing: being transparent it helps a lot to see the lines behind and it has marks, which allow the measure of things. Besides, the material is resistant and allows a little being bend.I would advise its use for those who want to make drawings, including those of figures (human or animals)
