This will only work on strobes with a shallow element or with a speed light and bowens mount adapter. I was hoping it would be easier to change the color discs. They do include 4 little magnets but it would be better if the plastic disks slid in and out without having to deal with little bits or take the whole thing apart. All in all, it does a decent job as a diffuser but I hoped for more

Within seconds of turning my BRAND NEW Aputure LED light on with this fitted, I smelt burning. Turned around to see that the entire thing had melted all over the bare bulb of my new $1200 light!This was fitted correctly, the bulb was nowhere near the light modifier in terms of contacting it.It's clearly made from a non heat-resistant material and will cause you hours of trying to get the melted material off the fragile coating of your LED light. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK that has not even been tested by the manufacturer as fit-for-purpose. I WANT A REFUND.

The good news is that it's the smallest of the bowens mount diffusers, the bad news is that it does almost nothing. It's a very short metal reflector with a plastic diffuser on the front, but the distance is so short and the diffuser material so light that you can see the shape of the light, which means it's not doing it's job. Just replacing the diffuser material with a heavier diffuser like Savage Translum makes all the difference.
