Don't waste your money, this is a very cheap bit. The cheek pieces have a lot of play in them and can pinch your pony's mouth. The mouth piece is thin and not smooth.

Nice little bit - just a tad wide for my little A mini, but considering that no one has a 3.25” bit that I can find, it’s doing the job just fine.

Nice smooth metal, I'm pretty sure its stainless steel. It may need rubber cushion pads so it doesn't pinch the edges of my mini's mouth. I would buy it again. It looks small enough for a mini, I still have to try it on my mini horse, but I like.
