Once upon a time Weaver Leather was a good company with affordable quality products- I am very disappointed to let others know that these are made of composite leather and rubber the crap made over in East Asia that stretches and breaks. Do NOT Buy these! They are actually dangerous and Weaver Leather should be ashamed to be selling these!

Not at all weighted, it feels like I'm holding a pencil.They are OK quality but the one side is already splitting and coming apart.I would go to a tack store to buy these where I can actually see and feel the item.They will do but wish I spent the money on better ones!

The reins are great quality but I sent the 1/2” reins back. The 1/2 inch is too light. Order the 3/4” if you want a little more control and weight.

Bought 2 pairs and love them. Purchased length is accurate, they are plenty flexible without having to wear in, and the quality is plenty good and makes them easy to tie at the bit. Will definitely buy another couple sets for riding season as I outfit all my horses with their own tack.
