Ordered this lifter bit due to a recommendation of my trainer. My mare needed something that would lift her some more, after trying today i definitely got more response from her and she was picking up her shoulders instead of dropping. This bit seems very well made.

My horse seems to enjoy this bit - he likes to play with it awhile when taking it off, so I let him toy with it until he's ready to release.

I was excited to buy this bit because of Ken McNabb's backing of this bit.I'm disappointed, the design is not the best. It pinches horses mouth, I personally tested it and the pinch really hurt. I bought it before my vacation and it was left in the bag for about a mouth until we tried it. Now it's too late to return this bit that I'll never use, so it will be thrown into the trash. Such a waste and dissatisfied. I didn't worry about returning it because I thought it would have been a great bit based on the description. It really hurts the horses mouth...

Great bit idea. Workmanship looked like it was made in a high school beginner’s shop class. I’ve never seen this poor unfinished workmanship out of Weaver Leather. Of course it was manufactured by them, but rather it was made China! The bit was not expensive so I guess I got what I paid for!

Excellent bit. Used as transition from snaffle to curb. Per Ken’s recommendation I started with no leverage (no curb strap) and it worked great. My mare works great with it.

Love Ken McNabb, did not see as much collection with this but as I did with other shanked bits, but I barely use any rein contact so it will do. Had to send the first one back for rough edges that pinched.
