This was pretty soft out of the box. The leather is thick and soft. All the hardware feels secure.I'm really pleased with how good it matches my saddle which is kind of burgundy but I think it will also go well with a regular medium oil.I can usually trust Weaver to deliver a decent product and this one didn't disappoint.

I love this. It looks good with various different styles of tack and fits both my horses well even though one is significantly bigger and more muscular.
