I paid almost $20 for a bottle of this stuff and it couldn't get ANY water spots off of my car's painted bumper or plastic chrome front grill. None. However, a $1.59 bottle of white vinegar (mixed with a little water) completely took out the water spots. Hmm, buyer beware.

This cleaner has done well to help me remove hard water stains. I’ve scrubbed at these hard water spots so much - my sprinklers spray a screen door, and the hard water layers on over the season, and cleaning the door usually takes roughly 40-60 minutes to clean. I used this spray, and after 10 minutes I was most of the way there. Another 10 minutes would make quick work of these hard water stains! It’s essentially cut my clean time in half (or more). I did need to run over it afterwards with a glass cleaner, since this spray leaves streaks, but it otherwise is very thin and liquid, and wipes off easily.

A year ago I bought a car from a gentleman that left it parked in his driveway, and was often showered by his sprinkler system. I live in South Florida, where the whole state is pretty much built on limestone, so to say we have hard water is an understatement. In most cases, the hard water is so bad, that hosing my car down when it's dirty is never an option, in my opinion. In any case, the car did have hard water stains on it, with spots that remained from the sprinkler system. Rather than go through an entire paint correction, which I have done in the past other cars, and takes quite a long time to do well, I decided to give this spray a try for some spot treatments. The final conclusion that I've come to is that it does work decently on light watermarks, but ones that are a little more egregious, I feel would take much more elbow grease that I am not comfortable with doing on my paint. On the tougher stains, it doesn't seem to have the cutting power to get through the lime scale. However, if you are dealing with very light surface spotting, I think you'll be pretty pleased with its effectiveness. All in all, it works to a point, but has limitations. Unfortunately, in my case, I think a full paint correction will be a better solution for my circumstance.

I purchased this product of try and remove the hard water spots caused by a sprinkler that goes off next to my car each morning. Since I am stuck with this parking place, I needed something that could help remove the Haze from the windows that was safe for paint. The easiest solution for Hard water on windows is 40% Sulfuric acid. However, Not the best solution for your paint. Generally when paint is involved, Vinegar is your best solution, but it's weak and takes Long soak times to work. This product works much better than Vinegar. It struggled to remove some of the older thicker deposits, but with a few applications it eventually removed them. The product is Odorless, simple to use, and SAFE on Auto Paint. A great product to have on hand if your car is prone to getting spotted with hard water. The fresher the spots, the quicker it removes them. Repeated applications may be required to get your desired result.

I’ve tried countless water spot removers, but this one is hands down the best! It effortlessly removes stubborn hard water stains from my car’s glass, paint, and plastic surfaces without damaging the finish. The fact that it’s pH-neutral and made with natural ingredients gives me peace of mind—I don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals.I also love its versatility! It’s not just for cars; I’ve used it on my shower glass, and the results are amazing every time. Plus, it’s made in the USA, which is always a bonus. If you’re tired of dealing with water spots and want a safe, effective solution, this is the one to get. Highly recommend!

My mother loves to water things down with her hose. As a result, my car is covered with hard water spots, as are all the windows on the house. I’m sure there are other surfaces that have them—they’re just harder to see.I got this spot remover to see just how well it would stand up to water spots that have been around for weeks, if not months. I was hoping for spotless glass, which this didn’t achieve, but it definitely cleared up some of it. My sister was impressed, which is saying something, since the water spots drive her nuts. She examined the windows I cleaned and pronounced that “The glass is cleaner, for sure. It looks way better than before.”Note that the spot remover is supposed to sit for a bit, so it doesn’t work on glass that’s sitting out in the sun. Best results will be achieved in the shade and with a fairly light spray of product (enough to cover, but not enough to make it run). The spray bottle puts out a fine mist, so that helps. The weird shape of it does make it harder to hold, though, than the usual sprayer that can rest across the tops of your thumb and forefinger.

It did not remove the water spots even repeating the directions. Poor product.
