Purchased May, 2022, am replacing now. I would not purchase again, the rope did not last. We do live directly on the Gulf of Mexico so the salt air may have caused the disintegration. This is connected to a life ring and if needed to save a life we would not want the rope to break during a rescue.

It is very visible around the dock and appears to be strong enough if needed. Which I hope it is not needed.

The ring is small, but that is what is needed for a pool. You're not throwing a giant life ring into the ocean, this is to have something that will float and will toss out nicely across the pool. Exactly what is needed for pool safety.

Good to have incase someone goes overboard. You cab throw the ring more accurately and longer distance than life ring, but also good to have
