I'm not a bike mechanic but I do like to do my own maintenance on my bikes. This helps out tremendously. I mounted this to the wood uprights in my garage and it's very sturdy. Nice this is the main arm that holds the bike can be swiveled out of the way when not in use. I highly recommend for light personal use in your garage. Probably not robust enough for professionals though.

I was looking for a workstand to do simple maintenance ( chain cleaning , lubrication or replacement , tire maint, clean cassette , wash bike etc ) . It's mounted right by garage door so I can hose down everything. It's a simple and inexpensive solution for me .Easy install

I wanted to like this clamp because of the pivots and angles but my dropper post was too small, my seat tube was too close to the rear tire and because of the shape of my top tube the bike was not secure. Also the upper seat tube has a support that prevented me from clamping it there.Maybe someone else had better luck with a Roscoe and this clamp but I didn’t want to force it and damage my new bike.
