As a hockey player that has to bring multiple sticks to every game, having a nice looking bag to store them all in is quite nice. This bag can hold three or more Senior sized sticks with no problem. The zipper only zips around the stick blades and does not go the length of the stick, but that makes sense. I did not know what the buttons were for on the bag, but it is to shorten the bag if you have intermediate or kids sticks. This bag fits my large sticks quite well.

I usually bring two sticks with me to the rink for hockey games and do the 'how much stuff can I carry and still maintain some swagger' walking in. Two is my limit it turns out or I look like Im doing a Survivor Challenge.STICKS are expensive, more so now than ever. I hear guys on the ice seeking out a 'sorry' when batting down an opponents stick.Protect your gear and make your traveling, across a parking lot or on a plane) a whole lot less of a hassle.Zips closed, adequate protection, adjustable shoulder straps and cool graphic on side. Go get it.
