I bought this to replace a cheap Chinese pan bought also on Amazon and returned. NO disappointments. It actually IS heavy steel, and it's beautifully finished. Very nice job, will have to look at more items from Vollrath. It's the real stuff.

Can’t go wrong with Volrath stainless steel. More expensive but worth it! Will out last the cheap Chinese made stuff many times over.

My wife ordered this. We didn't need it. It's such an odd size it has been difficult to find a place to store it. It frequently gets in the way and I don't think she has ever used it.

Excellent pan. Bought it as a gift for a friend for Christmas. They made 2 huge prime rib roasts in the pan. Works great.

Have dog that sucks her food down ,bought this so food would dread out to slow her down . It’s perfect . If owed a restaurant would only use this brand , great quality.

I got this pan so I can cook large dishes in the oven at home. It came with a lid that you can use instead of foil although it has a small hole for serving utensil, you can cover that part with foil. It's solid. I don't think this pan will be the easiest to keep clean though. You can easily keep clean the actual part of the pan the food sits in, but because of all the little crevices in the pan on the outside, I think they'll be tough to keep clean without a lot of tedious scrubbing. But for actually cooking, I think it's a very good pan.
