This is a beautiful link bracelet that is not as flimsy as I thought is was going to be. In my opinion it is suitable for a man or a woman. Each line of engraving is very legible and centered. P.S. It arrived seven days earlier than it was scheduled to be delivered!

As a recently diagnosed diabetic, I was scared into getting this bracelet. I have a fat wrist and wasn't sure this bracelet would fit my size 8 wrist. The bracelet fit perfectly. It's not tight nor is it too loose. It fits just right.Now for the bad news.I'm as clumsy as they come so I've beaten the mess out of this bracelet from day one. NO PROBLEM! It's taken a major beating and withstood everything I've thrown at it. I was taking it off every evening at bedtime but have kept it on for the past 2 weeks. No green alien reptile skin tone. No bruising. No rash. I highly recommend this bracelet to everyone. My doctor scared me into getting one because of two unfortunate episodes and I'm so glad I did. I'm no longer afraid to brave the Las Vegas heat. This lets people know what's going on even when I can't speak. I've passed out twice after being in the heat for too long. My blood sugar dropped to dangerous levels.I'll have to order another as a standby.****UPDATE****No need for a standby! I've had this bracelet on for 2 months w/o taking it off. NO PROBLEM!The clasp is still tight and the fit is perfect. It's taken a MAJOR beating and it's just fine!

The engraving was sharp, the bracelet was chunky but the clasp was woefully inadequate."Was"?Yes, after failing several times but being caught/found, the clasp finally let go and the whole thing was lost.

Well as life would have it I managed to find myself having to deal with some life altering health issues now. So the need for a medical ID bracelet was the next step in order for me to function on a day to day basis. I found this bracelet on amazon and for the price thought what the heck. It looked nice and had some good reviews. Being that it was a larger bracelet I was able to have alot of information engraved on the front and the back. I even was able to pick my font to customize it to my liking. I knew it was going to take awhile to get, since it was coming from China but for the price I thought what the heck. It probably tooka total of 3 weeks to get to me and I was totally fine with that. Once I opened it up, I was impressed with how nice and heavy the bracelet was. It truly was a quality medical ID bracelet. All of my information was correct and looked perfect. I knew the bracelet was going to be a little big and that I would most likely need to have it sized but for the price I couldn't pass it up. As soon as I received it I took it to the jeweler and for $15.00 he was able to take out a couple links and get down to my wrist size. It looks like a very expensive piece of jewelry when its on my wrist and I get compliments on it quite often. It pretty much goes with anything I wanna wear and even looks good if Iam dressing up. The clasp is easy to use and doesn't come undone unless I want to take it off. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a quality, nice looking, inexpensive, informative medical bracelet. You won't be sorry.

Cons - Virtually unreadable print. Comes on a slow boat, literally from China. Does not offer spare links to expand it's length.I am not a really large man but 8.5" is just to small to go around my wrist comfortably. Waste of money for me.Pros - has a secure latch. Durable and inexpensiveI would not recommend purchasing from this seller they are not willing to work with customers for correct sizing. It is to small for men at 8.5" and they won't sell you a couple of extra links.

Not top of the line, but not top of the line price either.Two slight issues I have is that the text is somewhat difficult to read. The etched text is white/gray on a shinny silver plate. Not the best contrast for an item you want to be clear about. This is a minor issue since the medical cross is clearly visible and I would hope people are smart enough to look a little closer at the bracelet to be able to read it if you're having an emergency. If the letters were black (engraved with black enamel baked in) like the more expensive brands it would be easy to read and could earn the 5th star.The only other issue is that the text on mine is slightly angled. It's not enough too obvious, but for anyone who is particular about detail, you'll see it. Notice the right side is slightly lower than the left. Like the etching color it's not a major problem, but a minor personal issue that brings it to a 4 star item instead of 5.Overall I can't complain for the price I paid. It's comfortable, the latch is secure, it's easily recognizable as a medical bracelet (my last one was not), and the custom etching is accurate to the request. It's not the same quality of the $70 name brand bracelets, but you're not paying those name brand prices either. I won't give it 5 stars based on the two minor issues, but it certainly deserves 4 stars.If you need a medical bracelet and don't have a bunch of money to spend this is the way to go. For an item that can save your life, a few complaints about how the text looks is just being picky. It's a good product for the price.
