Increased Air Flow and Faster Response.
This black solenoid is used with air horns that require an on-board air system for 12 volt vehicles. When the vehicle's horn button is depressed, the solenoid becomes electrically energized, opening its chamber and permitting air from the tank to reach the horn. Air Valve is rated up to 200 PSI air pressure. Screws in to any horn that has a 1/4" NPT female thread, at air port. Compression fitting for 3/8" OD hose included.

A fitting compatible with 3/8" OD hose, installation is done by taking out the compression nut, pushing the hose into the inlet and tighten the nut back to the fitting.

The air valve features a larger air orifice to increase the amount of air that enter the air horn.

Works as advertised, running 150psi thru it, so far no issues. Saw a few reviews about leaking inlet, so just re-teflon taped it before use, no leaks holds pressure fine.

I initially bought one for an electric remote tank drain solenoid. It worked but eventually started leaking from the cover/cap seam. Soon after that it died completely. Since it kind of worked and the price was decent I purchased another one. The second one leaked worse from the same place (seam of the cap/cover) and this time the item itself felt like it was going to fall apart. I have since moved on to the pricier name branded options.

Item works great, I got fittings to adapt it to fit a horn I made and it is mounted under the truck outside. So far it has worked great.
