Firstly, this hot pot and grill is quite smaller than I expected. Due to a review at the time saying they used it for big capacity family dinners and the overall price for this product I assumed it would be a great fit. However, this is not suitable for family portions. I would say it would work for maybe 3 people?Secondly, I have had no issues with getting it to heat up or tripping any circuits!Overall if this is for a small family or single person use, it is worth it for sure! Anything bigger than 3 I don't think I would recommend.

We wanted to do something like hot pot and Korean Bbq at the house. This was perfect to do both! I especially liked the divided pot for 2 different broths. One can be spicy in case someone can’t handle the heat. And the grill side did great for kalbi short ribs! The oil drains right out the side into a collector that is easy to dispose of. It is very powerful. 2200 watts. So if you may pop a breaker if u have this running at the same time as other high draw appliances, like a rice cooker or a microwave. it’s quite big for storage, but plenty of space for cooking when in use. Clean up was pretty easy. Everything is non-stick so it wasn’t too bad at all.

We found it is extremely useful and very flexible. It did trip the circuit once because of a portable heater and no more tripping after it was unplugged. We used it once to feed a party of 11. And we have used it almost every week now. Yeah!!!

I've now used this twice, once with bothsides turned on and the second time with just the hot pot. We simply were not able to get the temperature above just barely hot enough to cook. It couldn't even getto simmer. Would not recommend at all.
