My favorite color and texture for my thumb are the red ones. They are like the ones I've paid much more in a pro shop and came in a timely manner. Many times it's hard to find, so I will be back for more.

Excellent adhesive that cleans up easily. Different surface textures allow for faster or slower thumb release. Highly recommend.

It's hard to review a product I have been using for years, but I'll just say bowlers will find them to be very good thumb tapes. My only caveat is that if you are new to these tapes, they do come in different colors which denote different thicknesses, so it helps if you know what thickness is best for you. I've found the red ones best suited to me. Some are slicker and give quicker thumb release, I think that's the dark gray one, but I wouldn't want to tell anyone which color they should buy.

Stays on well, stretches & it is of good quality. The price is excellent compared to local prices which I have paid in excess of $7 more at local shops for the exact same item. I try to support my local shops so I'll buy from them occasionally but $7 is s big savings on Amazon and you can't argue with that. The product holds up very well, stays on really tight. I place the tape on the back of my thumb, half way up in my fingernail, then I pull (stretch) the tape so it's just under my thumb knuckle. If the thumb is still too loose, I add another piece of tape over the first one. If it starts getting tight, I carefully peel off the top piece & the first piece stays on fine. My only suggestion, whether you are using one or two pieces of tape, don't pull it too hard when you stretch it because you'll make the sides curl & you certainly don't want that. A great product and you should always have this in your bowling toolkit. 5 stars!

These patches work very well. They protect the area of my thumb that gets irritated during the normal release of my ball, but do not hang up in the ball during the release. The material is thin and has a slight stretch to it, so they take up only a minimal amount of space in the thumb hole. They do on occasion lose adhesion if I inadvertently put my hand in my pocket and catch the edge of the patch on the pocket. But otherwise they seem to have the right amount of adhesion for what they are intended to do.

These are the best mesh tape I've ever used for my thumb. It sticks very well to the skin but easily peels off after use. There are 4 kinds of tape for this product so make sure you want the one with the proper thickness/texture. I actually cut each piece in half to get double the use out of the kit. Worth the price.
