The description indicates that they can be used as hot pads but, they are extremely thin and the binding around the edge melted when I set a hot pan on it.

Love the fabric of these potholders. They could use a bit more padding for really hot items. Work great for microwave and potlids on the stove.

These were cute and I needed to replace my old pot holders that had ripped. They both started to melt when getting a pan out of the oven. Afterwards also misshapen. Not made with quality material at all.

Although these are adorable and match our kitchen perfectly they are not at all heat resistant. First time using these and the back melted.

I like the design of these but they are a little bigger than I was expecting for my small hands. My fault, I didn’t measure beforehand. The material is slippery and it makes it tough to grab hot dishes. Make sure you have a good grip before picking the dish up.

Very disappointed with these. The pattern was cute, but the pot holders don't protect your hands against heat. It was hard to hold hot cookie trays or casserole dishes for more than a few seconds without feeling extreme heat through the pot holders. The heat from the dishes also caused the pot holders to become misshaped after only three or four attempts at trying to use these. Very expensive to only be decorative. I threw them out.
