I mainly use these for chutney and dipping sauces and they work well. They aren't that big, but are big enough for most of my family. I was afraid they were going to be harder to clean with the divider, but nope, nice surface makes for easy cleaning and have survived many a run in the dishwasher.

These were perfect for serving just the right amount of jam and clotted cream for scones with afternoon tea! I'm sure they'd be great for any event/meal where you want a nice table setting but want to offer dipping sauces or spreads.
