About this item

  • Covers 5 or 6 strings for more vibration reduction
  • Economical 6 pack - 3 Black, 1 Yellow, 1 Red, 1 Blue

Gel Filled vibration dampener is light weight with high vibration dampening. We have been selling these for year and are constantly getting new stock. Well over 30,000 units sold. But please be warned, to keep light weight, the ends are plastic clips that will wear against the strings and break with time

The worm is my go-to for vibration dampening on my rackets. Makes my sweet spot feel like a fluffy pillow when the ball contact.Admittedly, they're not very durable, expect them to break after extended use. But at the low price and getting 6 per pack, who really cares, just put on a new one and buy some more when you're about to run out. Having been using these for I think almost ~10 years now. Will not use anything else.

The clips that grab the strings could be sturdier but they do a great job of dampening the vibration. I have been hitting pretty hard for a couple weeks and they have not broken or come of the racquet.

I prefer these worm type dampeners over the standard ones because they seem to do a better job at quieting the twang when striking the tennis ball. In the three months of use, I have only broken one of them so they are also a higher quality than some other ones I have had. I went opposite of the string pattern (although the instructions said not to). I just like more tension on my dampener.

Dampening works fine, the cheap plastic end hooks to connect to the strings don't work so good - it works is self off or the hook breaks. Heck, it's cheap enough, I just pull and tie the broken hook end around the string to get longer life.

First things first, this is a good alternative to more expensive brands. It does what it is intended and does it well. Too well in my opinion. This isnt a knock on the product, but for my taste, I like to feel the raquet hit the ball some. This takes out all shock and feels a bit dead on contact for my liking. You cant really adjust it to cover less strings since it will almost always fall off if its not tight enough. So if you like no vibration and feel, this is perfect. For some of us, a smaller dampener will work just fine. All depends on your personal preference.I still keep these in my bag when i try new raquets, or add a little weight to my regular one, so its a nice addition to have in your bag if the time comes.

These are my favorite dampeners. I would rather use a worm than a smaller one and I find they stay on a lot better since they can't just fly off the racquet. They do break occasionally, but overall, they seem to last a very long time. I highly recommend them.

I am a seasoned 4.5 player who has used worms for years. A good worm is hard to find. In recent years I've been using the Gamma Shockbuster with mixed but satisfactory results, but now they've gotten really expensive. I know what a nuisance it is when a worm keeps detaching and how gross it is when it blows out and oozes. I was worried by all the negative reviews of these worms, but I wasn't finding a better option so I bought the six-pack. I love them and just ordered six more because I keep giving them away and want to make sure all my racquets have these instead of older worms which feel like they may be worn out or about to fail. They're as good as any I've used over the years, with minimal detachment issues and zero blowouts. As with any worms, just be sure you install and de-install them lovingly. Never over-stretch or abuse them and they should work beautifully for you.

They work perfectly well. It doesn't fit perfectly symmetrically, but as long as it doesn't bother you it works as intended. I have seen other shocks with this same brand break after a tennis ball hits it, but I have been using mine for about 4 months now without it breaking on me.
