My teenage daughter is really into the whole arm warmers thing. I had gotten her a variety of colors. When I saw these fur ones I knew she would love them. The color is dark black and the quality is good. They are easy to use, just slip on. Keeps arms warm and looks cute, too.

I wouldn't call these arm warmers "velvet" at all, but they're wonderfully soft and fuzzy! Very cozy and warm. Surprisingly nice quality for the price. The downside is that the elastic at the end is rather tight, even though I am a thin person with skinny arms. These would likely not fit people with thicker arms and are best suited for thin petites and teens/tweens.

Y'know sometimes you buy a thing thinking "I'll definitely use that" but somehow it doesn't happen? Like you forget you got it, or the purpose you *thought* it'd come in handy for suddenly never seems to come up?These are the absolute opposite of that.My apt is aged & has radiator heat...which works, but on a bizarre, ever-changing schedule. Which means there are large stretches of time when they aren't on, or are on so low you need to be right next to them to feel. I bought these thinking "these will be good for those *extra* cold days when the radiators aren't cutting it" - particularly because being fingerless, my hands can still do all the things I need my digits for.Such as typing Amazon reviews lol. Yep, wearin' 'em. I seem to be wearin' 'em nearly all the time, because they are SO FREAKIN' SOFT, they just *feel* awesome, warmth notwithstanding. Which they're also quite useful for, ofc, but I've just gotten in the habit of pulling them on as soon as I sit down at my desk (which I brilliantly decided to place about as far from a radiator as it's possible to be. Good job, me!!🤪), regardless of temp.I don't recommend wearing them whilst preparing xmas cookies (oops!), or washing dishes (d'oh!) but otherwise, wearing them just makes you feel snuggly & cozy. I've had multiple pairs of these thru the years & these are by far the softest, warmest, nicest ones I've had the luck to stumble upon. 👍🏼

I got these because I don’t like wearing long sleeve shirts under my coat when I walk, because I get too hot. These go up to my elbows and keep my arms warm. I don’t get as hot and I have air flow because of wearing a short sleeve shirt. The sleeves meet the arm warmers so my whole arm is warm and comfortable not hot. Plus if I get too hot, I can slide them off. If I had a long sleeve shirt on I wouldn’t be able to do that while I’m walking. These are also great because I can slide gloves over my fingers. Eventually, my hands will get warm and I can take my gloves off and use my phone easily without having to take the warmers off. They fit snug which makes sense so they don’t slide down your arm. Nice and soft. My only issue is there is a problem around the thumb. It already looks like the seam is coming undone on both warmers. It’s an easily fix just an inconvenience to have to stitch them up. 4 stars because I’m probably going to have to sew these up my self in the very near future.

I think the fur looks very fake - like the individual hairs are shiny, kind of. But they are very soft to the touch, warm, and my daughter likes them for dress-up. I don't mind wearing them while I'm typing at home, etc., but after awhile, they start to make my wrists itchy - similar to the way tight socks make my ankles feel. Your mileage may vary.....

So, this is a 5-star review with cautionary advice: Be sure to read the description fully before purchasing, it's accurate.These are slim, they will not comfortably fit thick arms and large hands. There might be a little flex, but not much. So, even if the product photography calls out to you, just know that these gloves are made for relatively thin arms and average-to-small-size hands. This one size will not fit all.The interior is soft, noticeably softer than the glove's exterior, which is smooth and not exactly coarse but not as soft to the touch as a photo might suggest. The important thing is, of course, that the layer touching your skin is soft. And warming. The cut does a good job of keeping fingers and thumbs free and, interestingly, there's enough fabric covering the forearms that the gloves can even be partially rolled up to better insulate the wrists.The care instructions in the Amazon product description advise to hand wash only. That is the only care instruction you will receive, there is nothing packaged (or tagged) with the gloves themselves.So, not a bad product at all. Just know what you're receiving, as these have certain limitations. But for some, these are going to be very fun practical accessories.
