The product is exactly what I needed but the instructions are disheartening and confusing! In addition the product seems to be well made. Why did the instructions say this is for indoor use only when it's made for campers and boats? Since when are campers and boats kept indoors while they're being used!

Neat idea to create a very streamlined and inconspicuous way of connecting to a power outlet or extension cord. I installed this in a portable power pack that I can plug in and charge with an extension cord. It created a very easy way to provide power to the battery inside the battery box without having to open the box. It was a very obvious and very easy to connect the wire in to the back of the plug. It came with mounting hardware which made the job of affixing it easy. The rubber gasket around the outside provided some water proofing for the outlet although I would go as far as to say it's waterproof. Would purchase this again for another project in the future.

Well made. Removable rubber boot at rear. Color coding of terminal poles. Exterior rubber cover (not vinyl) seal is sealing nicely. Came with mounting sheet metal screws. Will work fine for my needs.

It seems to be well designed. I like the connections are color coded and are insert the wires and tighten. I also like that they enclosed stainless screws. I installed in a enclosed trailer and am very satisfied.
