This is my husband's favorite hiking and all-around boot. He appreciates the fact that he can get it in a wide width. He likes and swears by the 1-piece leather upper and states it helps with waterproofing. The boot has lasted him about 18 months averaging 50 miles weekly with every day use.

This is the only shoe my husband wears. He has a foot that tries to turn in and drag, and this boot corrects that.

Perfectly comfortable from the very start. No break in period. I love them. So glad Vasque went back to Italy for production!

I still have a pair of the old Italian ones from the 80's, 9EE in size. I had passed on the Chinese models over the years but jumped on these new Vietnameze ones when I discovered them. Ordered 9EE. Fit like an 8&1/2 C. That said if you have feet as narrow as a ruler these new boots are very well made, close in quality to the Italians. The soles are stiffer and probably won't be as comfortable. I trashed them in this review because I despise incorrect sizing with a passion!

Nice boots. I've been wearing these for many years (I'm retired from the US Forest Service and these were my daily wear). This latest pair are breaking in more easily than the last two pairs, so that's a plus. On the down side, they are narrow (and I ordered W). Shoe sizing isn't rocket science; Vasque should get this right after all these years. All in all, keepers.

They look nice & feel good. As good or better than the Vasque boots I had 20 years ago
