This is my second dashcam from Vantrue, my first being the Vantrue X3 (the camera on the right in my pics) I’ve had for the last 6~7 years. Back in 2018, I took a chance and have had a great experience ever since, so recently, I decided to get an upgrade, the Vantrue E1 Pro.I’ve had the E1 Pro for a few days, and everything has been good so far. The box included everything detailed on the page under “ What’s in The Box?” and I’m happy to say setup was a breeze. I must note that unlike other dashcams, this has no internal power nor memory and did not come with a memory card, and therefore, it will need to be attached to a power source and supplied with a memory card.Navigating on the dashcam is straight-forward, and the onscreen higlights do call out what is the ok/proceed vs the menu vs the back button are so it easy to update its various settings. You do have the option to connect to the dashcam via the Vantrue app to also tinker with the settings. The app(on my Note 10 Plus) was also easy to use, connect( via wifi) to, and make changes as well download video/pictures directly from the dashcam.The E1 Pro is equipped with a 4K resolution camera, and it captures sharp and detailed footage, even in low-light conditions. Unfortunately, all of the various resolutions it offered were capped at 30 fps. Despite this, I was still pleased with the video captures, not to mention it has a feature called "PlatePix", which allows for easier reading of license plates. It does offer many video changes to sui your needs so I would suggest spending some time in the manual to get things set up just the way you like.Overall, E1 Pro offers great value for its cost while combining solid picture/video quality and practical features in a sleek, discreet package. It was an excellent upgrade choice for me, and I strongly suggest it to anyone, whether you’ve dabbled in dashcams before or not.

This dashcam replaces my 5 year old Vantrue X4. The X4's been great but it's time for an upgrade.Installation is quick and easy (they even include a small pry bar to help run the cables) and it looks like the mount should hold better than the suction cup models that sometimes fall off in the heat of summer. The USB port built into the 12V power adapter is also a nice feature if you need to charge your phone or other devices on longer drives.The image is much sharper than my old X4, making it easier to read license plates, road signs and other important details. I have HDR an PlatePix enabled all the time. With HDR, the camera handles scenes with bright sunlight and deep shadows much better, preventing overexposure and underexposure. Yes, PlatePix does darken the video somewhat but simply increasing the Exposure to +1 solves the issue. The CPL filter also does a nice job of increasing contrast and reducing glare.The fact that it doesn't come with a SD card is really not a big deal. I was able to pick up a brand name 512Gb card (with the recommended specs) for about C$50.One minor annoyance I have with the mount is that it does not swivel or tilt left-right, only up-down. Because I can't have the dashcam mounted dead center, the resulting video is slightly tilted. Definitely not a dealbreaker though.Overall, this is still an excellent dashcam. It delivers a noticeable improvement in video quality and usability compared to older models.

I recently purchased the Vantrue E1 Pro 4K Mini Dash Cam Front, and I am thoroughly impressed! The video quality is great, capturing crisp, clear footage even in low-light conditions. The compact design is perfect, as it doesn’t obstruct my view, and it blends seamlessly with my car's interior. Connects to wifi well and easy installation.

Dash Cam 4K di alta qualità completa di accessori per il montaggio con GPS incorporato e Wi-Fi a 5Ghz.Iniziando dalla confezione impeccabile e dall’attenzione nella cura dei particolari si capisce la qualità del prodotto mentre l’installazione pur essendo semplice richiede comunque una buona manualità, in aiuto abbiamo in dotazione il manuale dettagliato delle istruzioni in italiano che spiega passo a passo il montaggio della Dash Cam sull’auto e successivamente tutte le funzioni dell’App dedicata.La scheda di memoria che è una micro SD va acquistata a parte e supporta fino a 1Tb, in Amazon ce ne sono molte ma attenzione a sceglierne una veloce e di qualità in quanto deve supportare registrazioni video a 4K con audio della videocamera, personalmente ho utilizzato una SanDisk 256GB Ultra scheda microSDXC e funziona bene.Le caratteristiche sono eccezionali, definizione video a 4K in modo che si leggono bene le targhe delle auto, connessione Wi-Fi a 5Gz per una connessione veloce con l’App installata sul cellulare, connessione GPS per avere la posizione dell’auto compresa la velocità e l’orario, oltre a queste ci sono molte altre funzioni utili per la sicurezza ma soprattutto i video registrati torneranno utilissimi in caso di sinistro oltre a poterli conservare come ricordo ad esempio, di un viaggio speciale.Il prezzo non è tra i più economici ma la qualità costa, è un prodotto veramente eccezionale e posso ritenermi soddisfatto, naturalmente la mia valutazione non può che essere 5 stelle.

Desde hace tiempo deseaba una cámara de salpicadero para el coche, tanto por seguridad como para grabar rutas interesantes. La Vantrue E1 Pro, de una marca especializada, me interesó porque tiene todas las funciones que deseaba. Posee una estética atractiva y un tamaño pequeño, perfecto para estar oculta en el parabrisas, junto al espejo retrovisor. La óptica, notablemente luminosa por su apertura de 1.8 pulgadas y con un filtro polarizado extraíble para reducir reflejos, se une a un sensor 4K de Sony (3840x2160) que utiliza tecnología Starvis 2. Esta combinación asegura imágenes claras, un amplio rango dinámico y baja de ruido en poca luz, como al manejar de noche, mientras el campo de visión de 158° cubre toda la parte frontal. Se pueden usar las imágenes mediante la pantalla trasera o la app patentada para smartphones (2,4 o 5 GHz), útil también para ajustar configuraciones. Los vídeos en formato MPEG-4 se almacenan en una tarjeta micro SD (no incluida) junto a un archivo de texto con coordenadas GPS, actualizadas cada segundo. El programa gratuito «Vantrue Player», disponible en la web del fabricante, permite visualizar imágenes, mapas de rutas y gráficos de aceleración, siendo útil en situaciones de accidente. Hay muchas opciones configurables: resolución de vídeo, fotogramas por segundo, información sobreimpresa, duración de archivos y modo de aparcamiento; este último permite monitorear el coche estacionado mediante grabación continua a baja velocidad o activación por movimiento o impacto. La cámara del salpicadero se fija con una base adhesiva de doble cara, que permite su fácil extracción. La energía se proporciona a través del puerto USB-C, usando el cable para el encendedor de cigarrillos o una batería externa, una opción perfecta para un coche aparcado si desea evitar el cableado especial. La falta de batería interna, una elección que apoyo por su pequeño tamaño y para minimizar los riesgos del sobrecalentamiento por luz solar directa, es otra ventaja. El E1 Pro ha sobrepasado mis expectativas en todos los aspectos: diseño, estética, funcionalidad. Se cuida cada aspecto, desde el empaquetado hasta el manual de instrucciones, que es claro, completo y en italiano. El precio, considerando las funciones ofrecidas, especialmente el sensor Sony, la alta luminosidad y la resolución 4K, resulta muy atractivo.

I've had Vantrue dash cams in other cars in the past, but I must say this dash cam is much more user friendly than the older ones. Simple app installation and seamless connectivity to the app. And it is voice controlled so you don't have to look for and press small buttons. The video quality is excellent and there is a license plate reading feature that makes it easy to see license plates. The dash cam was very easy to install and the small size makes it easy to hide behind the rear view mirror. The price was also fantastic. I would definitely recommend.

I had an older Vantrue dash cam for a number of years and decided to upgrade since I just also purchased a new vehicle. I’ve been using this dash cam for about a week now and it’s been a fantastic investment. The video quality is incredibly sharp, even in low-light conditions, making it easy to capture license plates and important details. Installation was a breeze, took less than 10 minutes, and the compact design keeps it discreet on my windshield.One of the standout features for me is the wide-angle lens, which covers a broad field of view without distortion. The app connectivity is smooth allowing me to quickly access footage when needed. It also starts recording immediately when I turn on the car.Overall, this dash cam exceeds my expectations. It's reliable, well-built, and worth every penny for the added security while driving. Highly recommended!

This dash cam is fantastic! Easy to set up, great video quality, and the built-in WiFi makes transferring footage super convenient. Love the compact size and the parking mode feature gives peace of mind. Definitely worth the investment for added security on the road!

I'm a bit of a dashcam junkie, but I never get the latest/best I like to get relatively cheap ones since they tend to only last a couple of years in real world use. I've used 4 others (2 in current use, 1 dead, the other I hate). I'll stick to quick thoughts here as others and the listing cover the specs well.Quick observations after using the Vantrue E1 Pro for a few days:- Easy setup using either the cam itself or phone app- Great picture quality, fair soundPro's:- I love mounts that pass power to the camera. i.e. the USB-C cord goes to the mount, the cam snaps (magnetized) to the mount. Therefore very easy to remove and put away with no wires to mess with. I had a Nextbase (died) for a few years that had that as well, well worth seeking out IMO.- The app works flawlessly for me (Samsung S21) but based on app reviews many Android users have had issues so check that out for your phone.Con's:- Does not come with a suction cup mount, only glue/sticky mount. I like to bring a cam when renting a car and need a suction cup mount option.- Does not come with a memory card. Many cams do.Other thoughts:- To update the firmware, format the card in the camera, download (https://www.vantrue.com/pages/e1-manual-firmware) and copy the firmware it to the root of your SD card on your computer (do not format the card in your computer), and turn the cam on. It will then auto update but only if it was previously formatted in the camera.- I went through setup and then decided to update the firmware. This resets all settings to default, so do a firmware update before dialing in all the other settings.- The filter it comes with is pretty nice, but be sure to rotate it (which it is meant to do) on a sunny day to find the sweet spot to minimize glare. It's polarized.It's a fine and capable cam that I plan to use as my daily in my car. I have a pretty new Rove in my wife's van which uses a glue mount and also came with suction cup mounts so we can take it in rentals. Neither are power pass-through mounts with the Rove, so take the good with the bad. I am powering this cam using a connector from my auto-dimming rear view mirror so it's only on when the car is on, I have not and don't plan to use the hard-wired always on functions.
