Our stupid cat decided to start peeing on everything. This cover helped tremendously. It appears to have a membrane inside that prevents liquid pass through in addition to a likely silicone waterproof spray that only lasts a short while. My daughter dumped a cup of juice on it and it didn’t stain, or pass through!

I got this Sofa cover and used it for few weeks before writing this review. Would recommend this cover as it is 100% Waterproof and durable. It protects my brand new sofa and covers stays intact even after multiple uses.

***Edit*** Their customer service is amazing.While this cover works, it slides a lot. I have yet to find a couch cover that can withstand my family. The couch has held up great but I wanted a waterproof cover that wouldn't slip around because this is our dogs favorite place to chew on his bone and he leaves a big wet mark. Also the couch is a jumping place in his zoomies route. (The cat too). Well it's waterproof and works great for combating the wet mark. It doesn't not however stay put. Ever few days I have to kick everyone off the couch and reposition it.

This is a great sofa-bed combo. As a sofa, it's really comfortable. It's soft enough to be very comfortable, but firm enough that I didn't sink to the floor. As time goes by it gets more and more difficult to haul my big ol' butt off the floor!If you will be sleeping on the convertablecouch as your nightly bed it's important to have a thick, high-density, foam mattress pad. You will have to purchase that separately, but that allows you to choose the features you want. Maybe you're a hot sleeper? You might want a cooling gel mattress. A mattress pad will not only protect you from feeling the wood frame inside, but it also protects the convertible sofa from the majority of the wear and tear of daily use. With its' 750 pound weight limit, the whole family can pile onto this sofa for family movie night. You just pull the convertible part out, but leave the back pillows in place so you can have a lounge chair that seats the whole family-- well, 750 pounds worth of family, anyweigh. (Did ya see what I did there? Sorry, but I couldn't resist. ;-)~ )The reason this item lost a star is because the upholstery fabric is too thin, IMO. Luckily, it's easy to find sofa-bed covers for virtually any taste or lifestyle. We bought sturdy, anti-dog damage, quilted, and waterproof covers! This sofa-bed should out live the pack now.
