I have a Brother XM2701 and this works well. I tried using it with 1/4 clear piping but that was a little too big for the foot so I purchased 1/8 piping and it worked like a charm. I'm still learning the ins and outs of sewing and this tool helped me understand much better what to look for on my next purchase. Great price as well.

This made all the difference in simplifying the creation and application of the piping. I made replacement cushion covers for an outdoor patio set, and it handled the heavy fabric layers great.

It does not come with instructions, so it took me a little bit to figure out which side the cording should be on, needle position, etc. That part was frustrating. I thought the foot just wasn’t going to let my fabric feed through. Once I figured it out, it worked like a charm. Photo attached for anyone who needs help using it on a Brother Cs7000x.

I don’t care much for this foot. It works fine when you’re attaching a straight piece of piping, but it doesn’t navigate around turns very well. I picked up a Singer narrow adjustable zipper foot and I prefer that for piping now

This works great on small piping and even a little thicker piping as well. Easy to use and runs smoothly with my janome.
