Tight fit but the installation went with no issues. Also mind that my Slip On V&H muffler was new so there was no build-up inside. I also used WD40 and it seemed to work well. The sound was awesome. Did not like the high-pitched AK47 sound from the standard buffles. These baffles brought a deep rumble I enjoyed.Unfortunatelly, I experienced a noticable drop in performance. When opening the throttle noticed a strange hung, like the the excaust was restricting the gases coming out. I thought that was horrible. Took the quiet baffles out replacing them with the standard ones again. I also installed the TTI's from DK Customs. That did the trick. No hi-pitch annoying sound, just a wonderful loud deep rumble, plus my power is back!!!

I had the competition baffles and they do sound nice but after a few hours riding they seem a little too loud. Not to mention I'm sure my neighbors would prefer they were a little quieter, so I picked these up. They seem a little expensive for what they are, but they work. The old baffles were easy to remove, and I had watched a video and read other reviews on getting the new ones in. I lubricated them with some motor oil and worked them in as far as I could by hand. Then I tapped them in with a wood block and a dead blow hammer the rest of the way. They are pretty snug and I'm sure removing them will be a bigger chore if I decide to change them but so far I like them. I like the sound on startup, definitely quieter. I'll try to update this after break in.

Good product, I was hoping the end result would be a bit better but overall ... I am satisfied.

Vance & Hines says that these only drop the sound 3 or 4 dB from the stock baffles that come with the mufflers, I would say it’s probably closer to 10 db.... I was worried that these wouldn’t quieten it down enough, but it did quieten it down a good bit.... At highway steady cruising speed’s I only hear mostly wind now instead of having that rumbling in my head trying to sleep at night from a long trip. For a person who suffers with tinnitus these were far better for me than the original baffles...If you get on the throttle there’s still plenty of sound to enjoy, but if you’re easy on it you can slip out of the neighborhood likely without waking everyone up... They are perfect for what I needed. They’re pretty hard to get in but if you grease em up and tap em in using patience they will go...Kinda Expensive, but in my case, well worth it...

Read many reviews before buying these. I can tell that the sound is great, but not quiet at all as the name suggests. I can’t imagine what the volume might be without them.So far I like the sound, but I’d prefer it a bit quieter, as I’m riding very carefully in town afraid to get a ticket.

I rarely write reviews, but with the hrs I spent deciding on what exhaust to get I thought I’d share so hopefully it helps someone else.So I got Vance and Hines 3” slash cut slip one for my new Heritage 114. They sounded good with the stock “competition” baffles, but a little louder than I wanted. So I bought the “quiet” baffles. When first installed....I was disappointed. They were too quiet! I almost pulled them out right away, it was close to as quiet as stock! But I found a couple comments online about them getting louder after s couple hundred miles, in fact one review complaining about how loud they got. So I have them a chance, and they got quite a bit louder pretty quick. I’m now very happy about 300 miles in.Great tone, more mellow/refined sound than the competition baffles. Far more quiet at video and cruise, but still much louder than stock. Get on it hard and they come to life.I had no install issues, packing was tightly wrapped in plastic from the factory. Maybe a recent change they made after all the prior install issues people had.I am giving 4 stars vs 5 only because some info/guidelines from the manufacturer about break in, sound change after s few miles, etc would have been very helpful

Total junk. Didn’t fit at all. No instructions. Had to go to extreme measures to remove along with damaging my pipes. DO NOT BUY. Very poorly engineered!

Installed these in the Vance and Hines Twin Slash exhaust system. They were difficult to install since the fiberglass is larger than the pipe. I tried the tape method another user mentioned, but to no avail. Ultimately, I unrolled the fiberglass, cut 6 inches (width) and then rerolled. Using only three pieces of tape, I was able to get these in about 85% of the way before needing any tools. Rotating while inserting was a huge benefit - just be sure to align the screw hole before you tap in the remaining 15%.As far as sound, it reduced the Twin Slash exhaust system from near deafening levels to a palatable, yet very powerful sound. Its a great balance because I can talk to my passenger at stop lights, yet let all the vehicles know we're around once we start moving.
