These are great to help minimize rock in the travel trailer. Definitely sturdy and made well. We have used these for multiple seasons and have no issues.

It does the job but it is aggravating to install by yourself, I have noticed an improvement in the back of camper being? bouncy?

Y’all! If you have trouble with people jumping down from the bunks and rocking your world at your camper, get this! It works! We stay on concrete pads and you gotta crank it tight and I noticed a big difference in camper “rocking” even with camper stabilizers down on concrete. I leveled the camper, proceeded as normal for pad set-up, and then cranked this unit in under the back bumper. What a difference! Great stabilizer assist! Highly recommended and I bought it because friends of ours bought one and told me to buy it. I was not sad I bought this.

2 units installed as instructed helped somewhat to reduce the bounce. Still had to add other stabilizers on each side of wheels to really be effective

We have had issues with our trailer rocking from side to side anytime anyone would move in the trailer. We explored options ranging in price from $250-$2000; we came across this product by accident and figured why not give it a try, if it didn’t work we’d only be out a few bucks as opposed to a couple hundred or thousand. Man I am glad we tried it out, sure it isn’t automatic and does require you to add a step to your set up but setting up the stabilizer is a breeze. It’s so easy to put up and works so well. After installing this the trailer sway was almost entirely gone. The stabilizer feels well built and we have used it in the rain and in coastal fog without any signs of rust. Great product that does what it advertises.

We have a travel trailer of 23 ft inside, 29 ft outside. The rocking side to side was bothering us a lot, despite having chock wheels. We ordered 2 of the Volterra stabilizers and we installed one in the front and one in the back, both are side-to-side and we didn't install any front-to-back. We had to move our spare tire to install the one in the back but luckily this was easy to do. The rocking is pretty much gone. If we do manage to make the trailer move, it will slightly rock once, maybe twice, before immobilizing again. It's really effective, much more than anything else we tried.

After using one of this device on our class B motor home bumper, the rocking have reduced significantly and make everyone inside a lot more comfortable. There is still little movement but stops rocking immediately. We were surprise this device also works on grass field (I placed leveling block as base). If you are looking for a easy way to stabilize your class B RV, try this device before trying to drilling into your RV.Pro:- It works- Easy to install- Light wightCon:- Still bulky after folding into storage positionComment:- This device needs a fairly solid base to work. One level of leveling block works for me.

Found this product and purchased based on reviews. It works great. Has removed most of the movement in our trailer. I purchased 2, one for the rear bumper and one for the frame behind steps. They are easy to use and go up in minutes. They arrived in great shape, well packaged. The carry bay is great. They are light and easy to store when not in use.Would recommend for any use of a travel trailer.

I have a 32 ft travel trailer and use two of these in conjunction with Two X-Shocks. These stabilizers are very well made , easily adjustable for different heights and very quick to set up. I use one under the rear bumper and one next to the steps. Trailer is 100% solid and will not rock or move at all, we love them. Each one comes with its own drawstring nylon bag for quick and easy storage. The only thing that you have to watch for is don’t overtighten the straps cause they will lift up your trailer and “unlevel” it.

This is a great stabilizer and we use it on the front of our small Casita travel trailer. It fit's just in front of the propane tanks and it really makes a difference. I gave it 4 stars only because it doesn't give you as much stability as using welded or bolted on scissor jacks. So I based the 4 stars on the amount of actual stability along with the cheap storage bag that it comes with. The bag didn't last the first trip without a tear but I bought the stabilizer, not the bag, I guess? The fact is, The Stabilizer Works! We do a lot of boondocking and encounter a lot of uneven ground. The adjustments on the stabilizer make it really easy to use anywhere on any type of ground. The only thing that could make it work any better for me is if it was available 6 inches longer so I could off set it a little more. I off set it as much as I can from just mounting it straight across the frame because we use the standard stabilizer jacks on the back that came with the trailer. The rear stabilizers are like these - http://www.amazon.com/Telescoping-Trailer-Stabilizer-1000lb-capacity/dp/B008G5AA7E/ref=sr_1_29?ie=UTF8&qid=1435171430&sr=8-29&keywords=rv+stabilizer+jacks - So what happens is that these rear stabilizers stop the side to side movement but not the front to back movement and if you just put this straight across the frame, you still get the front to back movement. Angling it at 45° really cuts down on the front to back movement and tightens everything up just enough to make it nice. I did buy 2 of them and I did use the 2 on the front along both sides of the tongue a few times but found that 1 works fine for our trailer. So I sold the other to a friend with the same Casita travel trailer. Like the title says, they are "Cheap and Easy" The other thing that would make it better is a better ratchet handle but the one that comes with it works ok. I switched it out to a more powerful ratchet just because I have extra tie downs here for our camping style.

I have a 35' travel trailer rear entertainment unit with 2 slides that rocks like the dickens. I had my doubts about these at first but took it step by step. First, one unit under the bumper and the difference in the rear was like night and day. Still moved, but significantly less. Was very pleased. Then put one under the propane tanks in front and that made the bed area stable as a rock at night when moving around at night or getting up. Careful to avoid the electric brake and other wires as well as the propane lines. There was still a bit of movement in the living / kitchen area so I put one under the side of the trailer under the I beam on the driver side. it wouldn't fit under the door / passenger side due to the slides as well as a propane line running under the I beam to the rear of the trailer. This combination of 3 makes the trailer VERY steady. You can still feel it when someone walks around but now it's something you have to think about, rather than before it was a pain whenever someone moved. I no longer wake up when the wife gets up in the middle of the night. They aren't the easiest to install and take down for a night or two but I won't set up without them. The wife won't let me. Careful not to over tighten or they will bend permanently. They are lightweight aluminum and I don't expect them to last more than a couple years at best but we'll see. The nylon carry / storage bag is inadequate for the sharp aluminum edges and already has small tears in it after a couple weekend trips.
