The starter pull handle on my lawn mower broke, so needed replacement. This was the best, hefty, comfortable, sturdy, and easy to substitute. Undoing the knot in the pull rope was the only awkward thing about the substitution, but with a small fid and pair of pliers I was still done in 5 minutes. It was also cheap.

Have a high compression go kart motor that I snapped the pull start handle on because of the kick back. So I installed this sturdy rubber coated one and it’s exactly what was needed. Much better than the cheap Chinese plastic that comes on regular pull starts.

It has a very, very strong chemical smell. It leaves the odor on your hands after gentling handling the pull. It’s a very unhealthy smelling odor.
