Deep Groove Ball Bearings
- Deep Groove Ball Bearings are one of the most widely used rolling bearings. They are used to accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions (Mainly bear radial load, but also can bear a certain amount of axial load).
- With small friction and high-limit speed, Ball Bearings are cost-effective and require little maintenance.

Selecting Guide:
- Shields (Designation Suffix Z/ZZ) - High speed. Protect from dirt and debris.
- Sealed (Designation Suffix RS/2RS) - Made of sheet steel reinforced rubber (oil- and liquid-resistant). Lower limit speed than Shield Bearings.

I've used these to fix a globe and make a few fidget spinners. They spin great and seem to last.

These bearings are surprisingly spot on dimensionally, but feel like there are chips in them when rolling, the grease that came on them was not good either. Overall probably don't buy as they barely roll.

I got these to make like wind spinners. I have yet to make one, but these seem well-made and smooth. I would definitely buy them again.

I purchased these for very light, occasional duty. I would not recommend for mission-critical or even long term use. For me, they work fine but these are definitely in the "buyer-be aware" category.

These were slightly undersized on the outer diameter, but didn't cause any issues on my project due to not boring the holes until the bearings arrived. These bearings also have a lot of lateral movent, and will look like they are about to come apart with light side loading. They did however hold up to being assembled with a .001 press fit bore and shaft. The bearings are smooth, not rough or gritty, and have decent metal sheilds. They are decent little bearings, but I personally couldn't recommend these bearings for high speed, robotics, anything CNC, or 3D printing.
