Purchased these cast-iron handles thinking it was not going to be as heavy-duty as the original 40+ year old handle. To my surprise these are just as good as the original handles.My application took a bit of modification to the handle as my valve stem is tapered. I had to flare out the inside end of the square hole to fit properly.
