Bough this to pair with an expensive one i had already. Talking about less than 1° difference between the two.

EDIT: After reading the packaging I'm doubtful this is rated to 400°C. The thermocouple was supplied in the plastic bag with the blue writing. That was then put inside the clear bag with the printed label. If you look at my photo I've highlighted in red my concerns. The probe is clearly identifiable as a TP-01 which is rated at 204°C, yet the printed label rates it at 400°C. I bought this, and paid extra, because of the 400°c rating so I'll have to contact the seller for clarification before I decide to keep it. [END]I purchased this to monitor some kitchen devices for temperatures and it performed within its stated tolerance. So far it's only read temperatures as high as 200°C so I can't verify its ability to measure or withstand up to 400°C. As per the photo, the thermocouple cable isn't supplied coiled. The only criticism I have is the mini k-type plug which is cheap, with pins that are slightly too large. It means a little bit of force is needed when inserting it.

Mi serviva una sonda con cavo lungo e questa mi ha soddisfatto e ha una buona precisione

Junk, had to return, what a hassle. Arrived with paper thin wires NOT welded at tip. Instead a ball of solder was on one paper thin lead, and they were not connected. Thermocouples are supposed to be spot welded together. Glad it was defective from the start or it would have failed after use - unable to be returned then....

Low cost k type thermocouples work perfectly well, 3 metre long was plenty to allow for my set up. Would recommend.

Will be installing between cold water supply pex tubing and insulation to check that temperature does not go below 32*F. Sensing end on one TC was not welded -- 1 of 4. Temperature response between the 4 TCs was within ~2*F from 32 to 98*F.

These K type thermocouples are a good value and worked for my application. My only complaint is that they really do not stay where you put them.I thought the wires would hold their form, but i guess they're too thin inside to hold onto an angle. On the plus side, the fiberglass covering is great for keeping everything safe from heat.My application is in a film drying cabinet and doesn't get over 175F at the hottest point so I'm not stressing these. The extra length of these really helped get them to where i needed them. They worked out of the box and i would recommend them.

Great length. Seems durable. The woven wire loom shield is covered in fiberglass shards, which I found out after an hour of handling. Probe tip is 1/4" of mutli-strand peeking out of 1" of heat wrap. Not sure it's going to hold up to much abuse, but it's decent for measuring temps so far. About 10 degrees low compared to my bench probe. 6/10, would buy again.

The two thermocouples give very different readings (more than 2.5F) in a dual reader. It might be the terrible innacucracy of the devive reader or the thermocouples or both.

Excellent price and delivery. I did have to modify it a bit to fit my Amprobe TMD-52 and it works great! I like the long leads!

I've used this to monitor the temp in my BBQ smoker and it works as expected for much less than an official BBQ thermometer. The white insulation has gotten a little tan/brown, but it seems to be more from the smoke than the temperature (~220-300F).
