This is not a linear slider the resistance greatly increases or decreases when the slider goes all the way to the edge and stays almost the same in the middle. Also, it will burn up if powered with 5v.

This product worked as advertised however construction was poor and pin layout was unclear. It would be helpful if a wiring diagram was included.

This is a right-lef fader, not volume up and down one. Also Quality is not that high.It heat up with 5V current and in my case it smoked.

The overall quality of the faders is fine, but buyers should be aware that the faders have a center detente which makes them unusable for applications that require smooth control over the whole range. They would work for adjusting around a middle value, like left/right panning or pitch up/down control, not so much for volume control.
