These ball bearings are being used in a puzzle box as the locking mechanism. The carbon steel bearings are magnetically susceptible and serve the intended purpose very well.

Bought these balls replacements for a magnet and ball building kit I use for STEM activities with high schoolers where the students often lose a ball or two per class session I use these at, so I needed an affordable replacement. I needed 15mm balls, and that’s what I got. The packaging is very utilitarian, just a layer of foam and a plastic bag, but it’s not like these are going to be a gift. I’m perfectly happy with these and I got a bonus ball on the side (I counted and there are indeed 101)

These work great with my slingshot rifle. They've been very accurate and effective. They're not cheap, so you need to shoot into a trap to reuse them or when hunting really make your shot count.

They are exactly what I ordered, steel balls. Although they are not as polished as I expected them to be, they are slightly tacky to the finger due to a thin layer of some type of old oil.
