The mesh is extra fine which is what I was looking for, but the seal on both pieces was terrible when it arrived. I was able to make it usable with a pair of pliers and pushing the rim against the edge of a table. Some bits are still escaping from the seal but it’s usable for now. Photo shows the product before I messed with it. The other piece was equally bad.

I am enjoying these tea balls. They are a nice size for one cup of tea. The finer screen on both sides keeps the herbs in the ball and allows good water flow through the whole thing. Has a nice hook on a chain to hook to the edge of your cup so you can easily remove it. Also easy to clean. And I really like that the whole thing is stainless steel. No rusting.

I looked at multiple brands and they were all from China. I didn't want something cheaply made soaking in a liquid I was then going to drink. I found this one and they use the brand name U.S. Kitchens and then when you click on the seller it has it shipping from California. When it arrives, the package says made in China. This is very deceiving. All I did was wash it once and set it on the counter to dry and it already has rust. I will not be using this to make tea. Do not waste your money. Tried of Amazon pushing all these cheaply made products. It has gotten worse over the last couple years. I would rather pay more for quality than to waste my money on garbage.

I bought these to steep my ground cacao Instead of brewing since I like a stronger cup. They work great and are easy to clean up after. The hinges get stuck sometimes if they open slightly askew. They straighten out easily though, but could make an overfull ball shed grounds/leaves trying to close it.

As one from Irish Roots, drinking Tea is a daily part of my heritage. I’m not talking the b gaged kind either. I’m talking about the ritual of putting the kettle on, pl cing the proper way mount of tea in the tea ball, placing it into the cup, pouring the boiling water into the cup and allowing the tea to steep before drinking.The issue with some tea balls is they don’t stay closed and then you h be a mess. Not so with these. Well-constructed, sturdy and properly made. They are of stellar quality and a. Great price.Why did I give only three stars to the cleaning? Because as any tea-drinking lover knows, they darken over time from the tea. It is no big deal! For some, though, it might be. Nevertheless it doesn’t have an effect on the outcome!The seller had these at my door in no time! Quick delivery. Pragmatic packaging!Very pleased and will repurchase ! Now I must go and post these on Instagram because I forgot to!

Seem better than others I bought before. Strong, haven't rusted, good. Oh, the chain will break off. That bothers me, but I've had such a bad experience with others in the past I guess the bar is pretty low.

These tea balls are great! I read a few reviews about them not closing properly...but mine work like a charm! Also read a review where someone thought they would rust....mine are of great quality...and while after some time they do become a little stained with tea, I've never had a tea ball rust. I am extremely happy with these...recently bought a bunch of little tea pots, so we could all have our own 'flavor' of tea...and now I have a bunch of tea balls to go with them!I highly recommend them!
