Each end of turnbuckles are threaded to adjust the length. Just twist either end to desired length for your tie-down application.
The eyes on our turnbuckle are forged elongated to minimize stress on the eye fitting. The solid loop provides no vulnerable connection points to allow cable to slip through.
Constructed of hot dip galvanized steel for durability and corrosion and weather resistance. Made for in-line or straight pull applications only. All of our turnbuckles meet or exceed ASTM F - 1145 specifications.

This turnbuckle has a 2200 lb working load limit which for the size and weight of it seems a little low to me but it's enough for my need. The turnbuckle will draw down from about 32 in to about 20 in, giving about 12 in of pull. The threads feel a little loose, but for the price you can't really expect the fit of a fine threaded bolt.I'm not sure where the product is made, but this is an American company selling it. The turnbuckle is heavy duty, might even surprise you how heavy it is when you get it. Just note the dimensions that I've listed and the dimensions in the description, and if it fits your needs, particularly the working load limit, I'd definitely recommend it.

This turnbuckle is well made and worked well to strengthen a wood rack. I don't foresee having any durability issues, but will update my any issues in the future.

I have a row of four identical trees along our driveway and one is leaning. The trees are about twenty feet tall and if I cut that one down and start over, it will take years before it catches up to the others. Thankfully, I have a very sturdy fence nearby that I can anchor the tree to and crank it back into position.This turnbuckle is decent quality... good enough for my needs. The galvanizing seems adequate, but I did grease the threads for a little added protection. The threads are fairly clean, but seem a little loose. For the money, this is a decent value.

I’m going to use these for my truck camper and I need something strong, but shorter. The description says it’s 12” long but fully closed end to end it’s 19”. With my connectors I’m afraid it’s going to be way too long.

This replaced an aluminum turnbuckle that deformed when used to winch two limbs of a large tree together. This thing is massive, and it worked perfectly. Very strong, nice galvanized coating, should last quite a while when exposed to the elements. Don't try to turn it with a wrench anywhere other than the hexagonal ends, the other parts of the turnbuckle aren't sturdy enough for that.
