After trying out a few Kindle page turners, I was really impressed by how easy this one was to set up—by far the simplest experience I've had so far.I love the feel of the clicker, which offers a nice tactile response compared to other button styles I’ve used (though both have their appeal). It was also a nice touch that it came with two charging cables, since both pieces need to be charged. That made the setup feel more thoughtful and convenient.The Kindle attachment is nicely tapered, which makes it feel less bulky than the one I was using before. I think I’ll even be able to widen my margins a bit now, which is a plus for someone who’s still getting used to reading with accessories.Overall, I’m very happy with the design, function, and ease of use.

SAMINRA Upgrade for Kindle Page Turner Remote Control.I have used this remote on my Kindle ereader. Fully charge each of the two pieces. The red light will turn blue.Do a 2 second press on the remote piece button. A 2 second hold on the clicker piece. Then, press the scroll wheel on the remote and the device is paired up and ready to go.NOTE: This remote page turner is different from the remote page turners that have been cropping up everywhere. Instead of pressing the button on the page turner, you use the scroll wheel to turn the page.I found that it's better NOT to turn the wheel. Just press down on it like it's a button. Instant page turn; fast.Also, the directions tell you to attach the clicker piece to the left side to turn pages forward. Not on a Kindle! The left side sends you backwards. Place the clicker on the right side of the Kindle screen and press the scroll wheel downward like a button and you will page forward.My pages turned instantly, even with my hand a few feet away from my Kindle in its stand.Removing one star for confusing directions.

This scrolling remote has a handy strap to help you keep track of the little thing, which is convenient when you fall asleep while reading and it's still lightly dangling on your wrist. The clip-on to the device pairs easily with the remote by pushing a button on both. Those are the positives that can quickly get you reading hands-free.The issues I have with this device are mainly annoying, and as an avid reader who isn't new to this technology, they are irksome. The scroll wheel isn't as responsive, and sometimes, it can take a few scrolls to get it to turn the page. The other issue is that the clip-on placement has to be so far on the screen to respond that it sometimes obscures the letters while reading in my Kindle app. I also read at night, and the clip on the device flashes blue every time I scroll the wheel, which is incredibly annoying when I try not to wake my husband.Overall, I believe this is an ok device that will get the job done sometimes.
