Your cart is empty. The thermostat housing is located in the engine between the engine and the radiator. When the engine cools off below the operating temperature, the thermostat housing is closed.
The common symptoms of a thermostat housing leak are a stuck thermostat valve, an illuminated low coolant warning light, and the P0128 or P0125 code.
If the thermostat housing is broken or leaking fluid, it needs to be replaced as soon as you can.

This was a complete waste of money. If you’re going to buy one for your Chevrolet, buy an AC-Delco. I’m not sure what this is. I liked the fact it was metal, so the part would last longer… but it started leaking like a sieve when I put it in. Ridiculous waste! The pipe on the side was screwed in with some gel on the screws.. and that wasn’t tight at all. When I tried to tighten that, it was pouring out the base. Trust me.. dont wasted your time or money buying this.. and just get something else. No quality checks or tolerance checks for these parts.. and obviously the 5 star is no one that actually wasted an evening trying to put one in like I did. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! 0 STARS!
