I had to throw this out before ever trying to use it. The chemical smell was so strong that it made it unbearable to be in the room and caused a headache. Even after removing this it was almost 48 hours and 2 candles before I could spend time in the room again. I took this outside and tried to see if it would air out that harsh smell but even that did not change the smell so I was left with no choice but to dispose of it.

My kids play football and we have been looking for an affordable tackling dummy for a long time. This one comes unfilled, and we just used the filling of an old foam bean bag chair, it worked perfectly! It was kind of messy to fill, but we knew what we were getting into, so it was no problem for us! The kids have used it regularly for several weeks and it is holding up perfectly!

I don't get how anyone could expect this to be prefilled. The weight involved to ship would cost more than the torso itself. If you want a heavy tackle dummy you could easily fill with free dirt from your backyard or garden. What I decided to do was to fill with old blankets and pillows. The dummy's fabric is thick and strong. I actually overfilled (intentionally) the body and was able to smash everything inside with no worries about ripping or tearing the fabric. The zipper is also heavy duty and sealed everything easily and is nicely hidden under a flatI have an online business where I occasionally sell clothing. I needed a mannequin for my photo displays. I already had the shoulders and took some duct tape and attached them to the top of the "dummy". Presto, instant mannequin. What's even better its the perfect height for my photo shoots. But my favorite part . . . is now I also have punching bag I can use it in my workouts or simply anytime I get flustered and want to blow off a little steam.

I'm extremely satisfied with this unfilled football tackling dummy. While some people might view the unfilled design as an inconvenience, I see it as a major advantage. It allows me to customize the weight and filling to suit specific drills and training exercises.I've found that by using different inserts, I can tailor the dummy to various activities. For example, a super-heavy insert makes it ideal for wrestling drills, providing a realistic dead weight. On the other hand, a lighter insert makes it easier to maneuver for football drills. One tip I'd like to share with others is that a foam mattress topper can be rolled up and used as a filling. This has worked perfectly for me, and I'm sure it will be helpful for others looking for a practical solution.Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this tackling dummy, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and customizable training tool.

This tackling dummy is definitely better than consumer grade and could be used by a high school... the trouble is that it's only as firm and heavy as your filling. We toyed with sourcing foam, but it just wasn't dense enough. The instruction manual indicated that you can fill it with old shirts, rags, and clothing pieces. Trouble is, even though we stuffed as many old t-shirts and old clothes as we could, we only got the thing about half full. We hate to generate waste, but we'll probably have to ultimately find cheap clothing at goodwill to finish stuffing the bag. As a result, it's going to end up being more expensive to fill enough to make it as dense as necessary to be really comfortable and safe to use.

Too expensive for what it is and it is not filled! I spent extra money on this one because I thought it was but it'll cost a small fortune to fill it! I would return it but the window closed
