Please note this set will not work with gas operated recoil shotguns or the Browning 2000, Winchester 1400, Ithaca 37, Savage 30, Sears 21, 30, or Stevens pumps.

I've used Uncle Mikes products before and as always they are well made with good materials. But this time the parts were covered with rust. One washer in the plastic is rusty and the dust got on the other parts also. Cleaned and oiled them all. Not acceptable quality control.

Works on my Ted Williams 200 (Sears)Pretty easy install, I added wood glue on the stock screw just to add extra strength but it feels very secure and I expect it to last a long time.

Worked well for Winchester sxp shotgun magazine cap. Works for many others as well. As another reviewer noted, the back of the package should be displayed, as it notes most shotguns that this kit fits. All the parts are made of steel and are well made and finished.

Good product, however be advised if you using it on a 870 Express Magnum, the end cap hole from the factory is too small and you will have to drill it out. I tried to tap it but that didn't work out as the tap size was too large in the directions, but no big deal, drilled it out and used the adaptor. Also the factory synthetic stock has extra material towards the end, so if you drill 2" to 2.5" from end, no worry the screw holds fine (added a little gorilla glue on threads). Just go slow drilling, I used a hand drill and vice, everything worked out fine.

Used this on an old Ted Williams Model 200 (Winchester 1200, basically) that I keep handy to welcome uninvited guests in the wee hours. Installation was pretty straightforward with clear instructions included. Options for several popular models. Front mount swivels and both seem sturdy. Work the screw for the butt stock in slowly and carefully to avoid cracking the stock. Gotta respect old wood. I don’t expect to have any trouble out of it. Homemade sling. Inexpensive yet effective, like me.

This particular set of sling mounts was added to a .20 gauge "critter-getter" and has held up very well to quite a bit of use, not only from myself but other family members. The Akkar pump shotgun, these are mounted to, has been used to train the wife and kids on entry level shotgun shooting and quite a number of small game hunts. The sling mounts have held up, over the last three or so years since I purchased them. If I had a need for another set, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, but for this shotgun at least I dont forsee ever needing another set.
