This was super easy to install. I hung it up during the scorching summer heat and was afraid that the adhesive from the Velcro strips would eventually fall off but it hasn't yet! The magnet strength is pretty strong and it seals up well preventing most bugs from getting in.

It's perfect, we saw this screen door in Mexico on the house we were renting. I love how it would close behind you when you went through it. With the magnets being sewn in and all the way down the door, its a perfect seal.

THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW:The original mesh was a little too small for my door. I realize now that this was my fault and not the fault of the product. Since it did not fit properly, it did not always close correctly and it soon developed a tear in the bottom corner. The tear was more than just an inconvenience, but my dogs' heads sometimes got stuck in the hole and they would be trapped in the mesh until I realized it and freed them.Since the hole was becoming an issue for the dogs' safety, but I still needed a mesh on the porch door, I ordered a second and discovered that I could order a larger size. (I know, "DUH" right?) This was even easier to put up since I knew how to do it and since the velcro tape was still on the door frame from the previous mesh. The sticky stuff was still strong and I just had to adjust the location a little and supplement them with new tape. The it was just pull down the old mesh and put up the new mesh. The new mesh fits perfectly and works near perfectly. There is sometimes a gap at the bottom that does not close all the way. If I nudge it with my foot, it usually closes immediately. I would say that the mesh closes all the way better than 90% of the time. So, taking into consideration that the right size makes for a more enjoyable experience, I am bumping it up to FIVE STARS. It is still not perfect (but what is?), but it does the job and is better than "good enough."ORIGINAL REVIEW:During nice weather, I enjoy spending all my time in my enclosed back porch, overlooking my large back yard, listening and witnessing the nature outside my window. It was fairly easy to put up. It is a bit narrow for the door on which I need it.I also have three dogs, and when I am working, I was left with the choice of leaving them inside, enclosing them on the porch, or leaving them outside. When outside, they are cut off from their food, and even though there is a large dog house, only two dogs will use it.My remedy as of late has been to prop open the porch door that leads outside, so that the dogs can come and go as they wish to eat or to get out of the sun or rain. The downside is that it leaves a giant opening for insects and whatever else wants to venture in.I saw a commercial for the Magic Mesh and figured I'd give it a shot. If it works, it would solve the problem until the weather turns cold again. Frankly, I thought the one on TV was the one I was buying. It is not. This is not the one that "clicks," but it is the same basic idea.So now for the part you care about.THE PROS:*It basically does what it says it does*The material seems durable. I'll let you know how much after a month or so. But for the most part it can handle my dogs going in and out regularly (my one year old blasts through it quickly and forcefully and it stays firm.*The glue holding the velcro strips onto the door frame is strong, and there is plenty of extra of the velcro strip to replace any pieces that fall away over time.*The dogs are not afraid of it. When first installed, my dogs just assumed it was a closed door. I gently guided them through it a few times and they figured it out -- some more quickly than others. Part of the trick for the dogs' learning is that they have been conditioned that doors open at the sides, so they were nosing around the door frame looking for an opening, rather than in the middle. After a few days, they all pretty much had it figured out.THE CONS:*It is narrow and almost does not fit the door frame. I do not believe that the door frame is extra large. The screen can be adjusted on the velcro to get a tight fit.*It takes a bit of adjusting and repositioning to get the screen to be tight but also still be able for the magnets to close it.*There are gaps around the side. So, once it is set up how you want it, you will probably want to seal around the edges with packing tape or something to seal off the gaps and keep smaller insects out.CONCLUSION:It's not perfect. But if you are willing to live in the world of "Good Enough" then it is perfect enough. It basically does what it says it does, just not as perfectly as suggested. Those imperfections can be dealt with by supplementing the installation with things like tape around the borders.I will post a follow up comment as time goes by to inform consumers of how long it lasted and of any issues that developed over time.

I've gone a month without being able to open my door to let fresh air in. I live in an apartment. My door used to have a POS sliding screen on the front of it. The thing was so flimsy and cheap that if you didn't push it just right, it would jump off the rails, bind up, or both. Last month it bound up again and in trying to get it open, I bent the frame in half. Talked to the manager about getting it replaced with something more substantial. Well, as he sat on his rear doing nothing, I sat with 3 fans blowing stagnant air around while it was 90 degrees outside.I finally decided to do something about this and started looking for one of those screen doors "as seen on TV". A Google search came up with an Amazon link to this product. Seeing that the vast majority of the reviews were 5-stars and that it was at a good price, I decided to buy one. I'm glad I did!! I received an email from one of the founders of the company personally thanking me for my purchase and to not hesitate to contact him if I had any questions. I then received a second email from him letting me know that it had been delivered and gave a couple tips about fine-tuning my installation. It arrived in 2 days with my Prime shipping. Following the instructions provided, I did a quick eyeball check for fit on my door. The screen was a couple inches taller than the door itself and looked to be _just_ wide enough. I attached the mating Velcro to the half that was sewn into the screen. After doing a quick wipe down of the door frame to clean off dirt, I began attaching the screen to the door. I positioned the top of the screen at the very top of the frame and began working down, making sure to firmly press the adhesive onto the frame every inch of the way. Since my door frame was slightly wider than the screen I followed the email instructions by moving the adhesive side of the Velcro out about a quarter of an inch on each side to ensure it had good purchase with the frame. I then unmated the Velcro and let the screen fall naturally so that the magnets would engage. This left about a quarter of an inch of the Velcro exposed on the sides, but the screen was still completely sealed and closed correctly. The screen was just long enough so that the bottom drags a tiny bit at the bottom so there are no gaps. While the magnets definitely do their job, I feel they could be a little bit stronger. I am curious to see if the screen will stay closed the next time we get one of our strong east winds. The only other thing is that I now have to kind of slide through my door because the top is somewhat restricted by the screen not completely opening up. The screen has to be made the way that it is, so nothing can be done about it. Besides, I'm a BIG 6'3" and fill the doorway anyway!
