I was able to pump this up in no time, and when I lied down I was surprised at how comfortable it was. The kids especially had a blast with it in the back of our mini-van. Definitely needed for any camping trip.

Pros- reasonable (currently $60) price- easier than expected to inflate and setup- easier than expected to deflate and bag (pull the plugs out and you're nearly done!)- smooth finish- easily fits in the backseat, adjusting nicely to available space- works nicely long-way in the back of an SUV with seats down- adjusting the amount of air nicely adjusts the firmness and comfortCons- too short for most adults to use in the back seat unless you're comfortable curled upCar camping friend is planning on enjoying doing additional "testing" - happy with the quality of the item!

This mattress holds air well! We kept it filled for a week. We used it in the house for some kids and never had to refill it. It has a plush, velvet surface that is very soft. It conveniently comes with its own air pump and storage bag.It fits well in the backseat of a truck. I appreciate the extra pieces that fill in the gaps and keep your head from hitting the door.

I ordered this air mattress since we make a lot of road trips to visit family but also want to visit distant US sites we haven’t seen yet. With this mattress, it is my hope that one driver can get a good nap while the other gets us further down the road.Positives:- The PVC material feels strong and has a velvety finish on top that makes it comfortable to the touch. Plus, it keeps the surface from feeling slippery and you are less likely to slide around when the vehicle is moving.- The mattress easily fit, sideways, in our minivan (Chrysler Pacifica) once I stowed the two middle seats under the floor. I.e., I positioned it so that my head was at one sliding door and my feet were at the other. If I also stow the rear seats, I could turn the mattress 90 degrees and have little more leg room.- It felt comfortable to lay on and provided enough cushion for me to feel like I could sleep on it. It would probably work best coupled with a sleeping bag or a thick blanket just so there is another layer of cushioning. Knowing my wife, I think she would rather sleep in the front passenger seat since that is much more comfortable and supportive.Negatives:- The mattress is short for an adult so, your feet will hang off of it unless you are fond of the fetal position. It may work well for a child but, not while you are driving, since you will want them buckled in.- The three air intake ports on the main mattress were difficult to close. Although they appeared to be threaded, you could not screw them in but I had to fight to force them in place. Taking them apart, to let the air out, was easier but I wonder how many times I can do this before something gets damaged.- I forgot about it and left the mattress in the van for a couple of days. Upon inspection, the main section had deflated but the port was still closed so, I re-inflated it and it appeared to be fine. Perhaps it has a slow leak?- The pump comes with three adapters that work well with the main mattress but not with all of the “extra” pillows. I was able to make it work but it seems like they should include one more adapter.Overall, it seemed like a decent mattress and was certainly better than having nothing but I am not confident that it will endure much use. Adults may use this normally and be fine but kids will probably destroy it.Hopefully, this review was helpful to you.
