No anchors on the cover. Has a weird smell at first but overall it does the job. Not blackout but it’s just fine at night. There’s also an opening at the top that you need to cover for complete coverage.

i absolutely love this cover for my parakeet cage. it fits perfectly. its easy to use just slip it on and my bird is happy because i no longer wake him when i turn the lights on during the night lolololthe 2 zippers work well. the cover itself is a thinner nylon type material that looks like a good quality and seems it will be easy to clean either by hand or delicate cycle in washer. so far we are very happy with purchase.
