For my XR650r fits perfect comes with tail light lens cap only no electricals so you need to make other separate arrangements to get light.Love the quality

It doesn't exactly match the OEM fender, but you can make it work. There are features missing like the water deflection shield, unless you just stapled the old one in roughly the same position. There are two extra holes that will let water/dust in to the wiring/CDI area, so if you don't want that you must plug them. Installing any kind of tail light requires drilling, as there are no provisions for that (it only comes with the shield). Also, installing the factory wiring keeper will stress the plastic and make it turn white, indicating the hole is not drilled to the proper size. In the end I have a tail that is 10 times less floppy than the 20 year old OEM unit and it doesn't look bad at all. Now my license plate will stop hitting my tire.

fit and finish was like stock, i had to drill for my light kit but it was easy. Didn't come with the water diverters/gromets but I had the old ones so it wasn't to bad.

i bought this for my xr650r and the fit was horrible to run the wires i had to figure out to drill holes for the tail light,the lens on the tail its horrible you turn on the lights and its not even red its orange and it doesn't even fit the place it should be,and i wish that the only thing .after the installation, i take a look on the rear and the tail is like 2 to 3 inches out of center i wish i would of return it,very disappointing

I bought this under the assumption it was a direct replacement for the OEM fender. I was surely wrong. This thing is junk. The knock off light reflector thing looks like crap. It's cloudy and isn't even red, it's more orange. There is no way to mount the working tail light without extensive work. There's no piece to divert the water/dirt away from the wiring like the OEM. There's no rubber gasket like OEM. The overall fitment is a little off too.If you don't mind not having a working light, you could probably get by using this junk.

This fender is described as "with taillight" but only includes a very poor fitting and cloudy taillight lens. There is no light socket or wiring for a working taillight or brake light. An OEM fender without lens or wiring costs the same and includes features including the OEM gaskets and rubber water diverter that this does not include. I would have returned it but the return freight would be too costly to make it worthwhile. Don't buy this, buy the OEM.
