Non-acoustic, smooth PVC panel, 0.16" thick (5/32" or 4 mm), grid mount only (no glue or staples), 25-year warranty, dimensions 23.75" x 23.75", solid white (not translucent), recyclable #3 PVC.
RIGID & DURABLE - While lightweight (only 2lb), the 0.16" PVC tile will sit solidly in your grid for many years. They can support the weight of R13 insulation or a single LED puck light.
EASY DIY INSTALLATION - Designed to drop into standard 15/16" grids (the width of the grid as you look up). Like most tiles, these will not work with thinner 9/16" grids. Flexible enough to install with zero clearance in surface mount grids. EASY TO CUT - just score with a utility knife and snap.

Why do DuraClean ceiling tiles work so well?

Our DuraClean tiles are made from UV Stabilized 1/8" (.125") thick vinyl plastic and easily fit into almost any ceiling grid system. This durable tile is perfect for industrial and commercial areas like: food preparation areas, clean rooms, bottling and food processing plants, schools, dorms, day care and educational facilities. Many people also like the simple, clean look for their home! Constructed from 100% PVC Vinyl, our DuraClean tiles are washable, waterproof, and Class A Fire Rated and can be washed over and over without any damage. DuraClean tiles are built to withstand a lifetime of use!

Standard Size - DuraClean panels are designed to fit all standard 15/16" - 1" T-Bar Ceiling Systems, making replacing old standard 2' x 2' ceiling tiles a breeze. You have the option of installing them in the grid alone, or putting them directly under existing acoustic tiles (check your building code). They are strong enough to support regular insulation laid right on top of the tile. The connection between cross-tees and mains in many grid systems causes a minor shadow at the corners of any smooth tile. This is expected and doesn't affect the performance of the tile.

Easy to Cut - To cut any DuraClean panel, mark and score the face of the tile with a utility knife and snap it away from the cut. A skill or table saw can also be used in cutting multiple tiles at once and a RotoZip or hole-saw for odd sizes shapes and circular holes - like sprinkler heads or can lights.

Easy to Clean - Use a mild soap and water solution or most household cleaners to clean your DuraClean ceiling tiles. Just spray the cleaner onto a clean rag and wipe. Power-washing DuraClean panels is also an option, but avoid placing the spray nozzle tip too close to the panel in order to prevent damage to the tile face. The tiles are unaffected by most corrosive chemicals, but avoid using acidic cleaners or scrubbing with abrasive cleansers.

Food Prep Areas - Because they are smooth, durable, and washable, they are perfectly suited for use in Food Areas.

Waterproof - 100% Waterproof and washable

Class A Fire Rated - Tiles were tested by Intertek (2016) in accordance with ASTM 84e scoring a Class A rating for flame spread and smoke generation.

I was dubious when I ordered but I have to say these tiles were more than I could have hoped for. They are light, stiff and easy to cut. Because I have a retrofit ceiling I've had to trim every one, the fact they're easily trimmed with a sharp boxcutter.

If you want a simple and inexpensive attached ceiling or drop ceiling, these were fine. Just be sure and measure each rail using the tiles. The directions can be misleading

Exactly what you'd expect. A blank white ceiling tile.Not for applications needing soundproofing.Easy to cut and durable.Packaging could be improved to prevent damage during transit.Edit:I have since ordered more of this same product and they have added additional protection in the packaging. Great to see this and I have added a 5th star to reflect this.
